Landscaping is more than a job in the Scott family; it's a tradition. The Scott family has lived in the Ithaca area for over 50 years and they have a strong connection to the land and the community. Thirty years ago, Caleb's father, Duane Scott, set out to make a difference in the community, and he did just that.
We believe every project offers unique opportunities which are site specific. We take a wholistic approach to each project, offering both interior and exterior services. We work on projects of various sizes and we tailor our design services to meet your needs. We prefer a flexible design process which starts with a free consultation (for interior, exterior, or both) which clearly defines the client's goals and objectives.
Scott Land and Yard Services offers over 45 years of landscape and construction experience, which brings expertise, efficiency, quality, and creative solutions to every job. Our customers can be sure that their projects are built for lasting quality. We endeavor to make all phases of our projects environmentally friendly, including demolition and construction.

Q: What is the advantage of using a design-build contractor, over a separate designer and contractor, or landscape maintenance company? A: As the designer and the contractor we are able to save you time and money by reducing the steps between a conceptual design and a built landscape. We do not have to create extensive drawings for the installation, but can still insure that the design intent is maintained throughout construction.

Scott Land Yard Group have been great to work with the past few years. As a designer, I like working with teams that know how to do quality work, need little supervision and are easy to work with. This team delivers on this every time. Fantastic with site work, drainage, trouble-shooting tough spots and excellent stone work.

Scott Land & Yard exceeded our expectations !
After building a new house, we were left with the most undesireable yard/surroundings. We contacted Scoot Land & Yard to help us in several ways. The house needed efficent drainging, trees needed to be recovered from the stress the builders created, ground surrounding the house needed grading, and leveling, back deck had to have additional support in place. Then we needed a beautiful design for the landscaping, and a lawn put in. Quite a list for a landscaper.
Caleb Scott stopped by and within the hr. had several good solid solutions to all our needs
