All I can say is my husband and I agree we would never do business with Todd or recommend his services. We found Todd on Yelp and saw the other one star reviews but were skeptical because he had so many other five star reviews. We figured it was an isolated incident and unfortunately we were wrong. We contracted with Todd to have him tear down our existing roof on our pergola which was leaking when it rained and put on a new roof that did not leak. We made it pretty clear the only reason we were considering doing the renovation was to get a deck roof that would not leak. Todd came out on a Wednesday

Todd is amazing and lovely to work with. My house needed some serious deck love, the paint was chipping and gross, it looked like it had been through some bad weather and half of it looked rotten. Todd's crew came out and fixed it right up, some of the planks were replaced, but the rest of the deck was salvaged with some serious cleaning and a beautiful stain! Thank you so much, our backyard looks sooo much better!!

I contacted Custom Deck and Fence via word of mouth. They tore down our old fence and installed a brand new 250 ft horizontal fence. We decided on the horizontal style to match the other modern updates we have been doing with the house. Since you're not supposed to stain a brand new fence, Todd and his crew came back to stain it 2 months later. We went with cedar naturaltone for the color. Looks great and definitely adds a lot of value to our property. Working with Todd was a breeze. He is super friendly, approachable, and just a great stress free experience to work with. Explained

We just completed a large exterior renovation of our home. This included siding, windows, paint. A pool renovation and deck work performed by Todd's company. All of the crews were good but Custom Deck and Fence Staining stood out as the best. They communicated with us every step of the way. Lorenzo the foreman was a pleasure to work with every step of the way. Todd's final bill was exactly what he had promised from the beginning and we will be calling him back for more deck work in the future.

We used Custom Deck and Fence to build our back deck. We got 4 quotes and while they were not the cheapest (but not the most expensive), we decided to go with them based on availability & responsive communication. They were able to finish our deck in a couple days, just in time for Sunday Funday Football BBQ. We are very happy with the final product.

Todd came out and gave our deck repair and paint project a quick look - he came back with a middle bid but more importantly his crew was available on our tight schedule; this is why we chose Austin Custom Deck and Fence Staining.

We used Todd to stain our deck a few years ago, then again last week to fix a mess I made when we borrowed a friend's power-washer to try to clean the deck ourselves - don't do that, btw! His team replaced rotted planks and built a stair handrail for us, in addition to re-staining the entire deck. All for a decent price. Todd's guys Martin and Byron did a great job on everything and the handrail was much sturdier and nicer-looking than we even expected.

There are a whole slew of reasons I'm giving this company 1 Star. First off, the owner Todd would not come look over the job beforehand so we were on the same page. Second, he is dishonest about pricing. Third, as the owner, you are responsible for your employees. His worker damaged the paint on my siding using gorilla tape instead of blue painters tape. Not just 1 area, the whole bottom plank adjacent to my porch. We won't even get into the names he called my wife (cuss words) when she called to have the job finished. The job is still not finished. I'm in a service oriented

These guys were great! I had an oversized deck in my backyard that was in very bad shape. Todd and his crew demolished and disposed of the entire deck and rebuilt a new, smaller one that is absolutely perfect! They got the work done quickly and were very professional. I plan to work with them in the future on any upcoming projects. I definitely recommend these guys!

Todd and his crew did a fantastic job re-staining our deck! Our deck was only 8 months old and needed a lot of TLC after the summer/winter. It looks better now than it did when it was first built. Todd was very responsive and professional - all three guys really went above and beyond. They even did a few extra odds and ends for us like fixing rails, replacing a cracked board on the stairs, etc. Highly recommend!!

Great job, really - everything went smooth. Todd is quick to respond, great price, super tidy, knows his business - worried about how much of the prior stain needed to come off with the power wash so the grain would look good with the new coat. Very careful to wipe all the stain off the metal posts, got into all the nooks and crannies, super careful of the neighbors house and driveway. Covered the bushes and pool completely. Quite an amazing job. Fast, well priced, easy to work with - good communication. Highly recommend. Added a couple pics of the shadowbox fence! Thanks Todd!!

I'm so happy I went with Todd at Custom Deck and Fence Staining! You won't find a more trustworthy or hardworking individual. My deck was looking a little rough and I'm not one to keep up with it, but I had company coming over and I wanted to make a good impression.
I hired Todd to power wash and stain my deck and he got it done in a reasonable amount of time at a great price. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire process. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to him again!

I called Custom Fence and Deck Staining after I saw one of their business cards. I had been looking high and low for someone that had experience with ipe (Brazilian hardwood). Our deck is 8 years old, very large, and had accumulated quite a bit of mildew since it's last refinishing. Todd came right out, explained to me what needed to be done, and gave me a very reasonable bid.
He moved all my furniture and plants off of my deck (a big job) and even took pictures of where everything went so he would know how to put it back!
