Outside faucet leaking after episode of high winds/cold weather. Mike was absolutely fantastic. He was very professional, quickly assessed the problem and was immediately able to repair. Marius was wonderful. He was respectful and intended to our concern with our hot water heating system. He immediately saw several issues which were contributing to our lack of heat. He showed and explained the issues and told me what he would do today to make it possible to restore the system to working order.
He also advised additional maintenance and replacement which would need to be done once Spring arrives. He provided an estimate for these services. In addition, he happily provided a written statement of today’s visit and recommendations for the future for my husband.

Matt is fantastic! Very knowledgeable and efficient! He explained everything he was doing in a way I could understand. He was honest, worked in a fast and confident manner and was friendly and respectful every minute he was here. I would recommend Mac Vik to anyone, especially in Idaho Springs where it is difficult to get plumbing and heating specialists! Really disappointed!! Prior to setting up the appointment, no one told me about "trip" charge. 1st thing when they arrive is I owe the almost $70 to come out. I was just wanting an estimate. End up hiring them for the job. A couple grand+ later and I still have the same problem!!! Thousands of dollars to fix nothing.

I've worked with other contractors in the area, and there unfortunately very few I can speak well about these days; Marius is one of those people. The guy hasn't been doing boilers very long, but his depth of knowledge, his demeanor, and his willingness to gently help while respecting your property. I appreciate all of this and his availability. I recommend this company; and though you might have to wait a week to get someone out, it might be worth it long term if you can wait.

Showed up on time and got job done quickly. They used extreme care in keeping my carpet clean. It appears that the new water heaters are functioning properly and putting out hot water. They had very, very good communications with me. I was out of town, so my roommate kept me informed. She was very impressed with their work and that tells me a lot.

Used Mac Vik to install a freeze-less water spigot to the outside. Showed up on time and got the job done! Very satisfied and will use again. We are in Evergreen and have used some other plumbers but so far Mac Vik has been the best.

I have called and left 4 messages 1 yesterday and 3 today. Even went on line and requested a response. We always used Mac Vik in the past and was always happy with service response time and repairs. But I heard that they sold the business and now everything seems to have gone down hill. So sad when a trusted business is sold

Marius and team did an excellent job replacing our boiler. They were courteous and respectful of our home, took their time to explain things and make sure we were happy with their work. Mac Vic is one of a few companies who will provide support after hours and on weekends when needed. They have a fair and straight forward pricing system vs. the "maintenance plans" offered by many of their competitors in the area.

Just want everyone to know about this place my mom called them to fix a faucet outside, parts only, as well a fill valve for a toilet, a fill valve costs an average 25-30 dollars, the total for these two items was 505.40 !!! Called to speak with management no one would come to the phone !! Hiding under a rock I assume. Be aware of there practice to take advantage of older people.

I just moved here from out of state and this was honestly my first time needing a plumbing service. Mac Vik's did not disappoint! They had great customer service and I didn't feel taken advantage of. Cambrea helped me over the phone and she was great at communicating their services. I didn't catch the technician's name, but he was also very helpful! With COVID going on, he wore his mask and was in and out in no time. Hoping to not need any work done any time soon, but I'd definitely come back if needed.

What a great company and wonderful employees. They repaired the water heater in my rental quickly, inexpensively, and professionally. The employee wore his mask and gloves and made sure to social distance as much as possible. I appreciate their kindness, courtesy, and expediency - from the person I spoke with at their office to the technician who came out. I highly recommend them!

Wow. I've been trying to buy a specific part from them for a week now. The three ppl that work the front office have no clue what's going on and the "parts" guy hasn't been there once. Every time I can "he went home early today" is all they can muster. Today it's 2:00 and he's gone. Friday it was 1:00 and he left. Thursday he was "out on a job and will be back In an hour." He wasn't. Skip them. There are other better options.

I was driving on Interstate 70 eastbound when I was tailgated by a Mac Vik Plumbing and Heating van. The driver then switched lanes and began tailgating the next car further up. This process continued until he was out of my sight. I estimate that the van was less than 3 feet from the bumper of each car it tailgated. I wrote down the number for Mac Vik and called them almost immediately. Heather answered the phone but would not put me through to the manager/owner. So I described the situation to her and she suggested I call the Colorado State Patrol. I asked her to leave a message for the manager

Look elsewhere. Unethical pricing. They showed me how much it would cost after the work was done and did not break down any pricing. For a part which can be purchased for under $40, they charged $435. I have been referring them to others and will not ever. The company did not do anything to remedy the over-charge. Do not put yourself in the same boat. Give your business elsewhere. Unethical and taking advantage of people.

This last time I called them to clear a sewer line. A tech came out to clear the main sewer line, but only had 110 feet of snake and my line is longer so he spent 4.5 hours working on it with no success. He came back the next day and had a second person I'd never seen before along to help him. Later, when I received the bill for $2100 and saw I was charged $475. just for the helper and $125 for the snake extension they brought the second day to complete the job, I tried

Hot water heat boiler went down. Called after hours, they called back with in a couple of hours. They were still on a call, and at least I knew the story. Went over the procedures over the phone and figured out what was wrong. It was 7 degrees out side and my house was 41 degrees with no heat. They showed up the next morning with what was needed, fired up the unit, went to get the official parts and were done in a couple of hours. The tech Rick, handled it from start to finish and knows what he is talking about. The trip charge @60 and the tech charge@100 hr might seem high. But not wondering

My mom who is elderly lady had a main line cleared out by Macvik plumbing in 40 minutes with no problems. (180.00) My mom has used them for over thirty years. The two men were very respectful and courteous to my mom and I.
They are not open on the weekends so we had received a bogus proposal from another plumbing co. over the weekend saying they could do a main line drain repair with two options 7,500 or 10,000 to the street because they could not get through the main line. We learned a hard lesson to not call another Plumbing co.

I asked Mac-vik to correct the flagged gas leak XCEL had put on a pipe and to review th boiler for proper operation. I was very specific in describing the location. It took about two weeks for Mac-vik to show up. Even though this was a yellow, not red, tag meaning it was not an emergency I thought two weeks was excessive, but they said everyone is busy due to the season. After spending an hour looking around the technician called me to tell me he could not find the tag and he wanted to charge me $1200 or on the boiler to make it operational and safe. I contacted them on a Tuesday and they were at my house on Thursday (only because I preferred they come in the morning as opposed to the afternoon). They would have been out the next day had my schedule worked out. Great service! They were helpful the moment I called them (and super friendly). They offered suggestions over the phone to where I didn't even need to go to the showroom. Rod showed up promptly during my scheduled time to replace my toilet and offered exceptional service. Quite awhile ago we called Mac Vik w/a plumbing issue. Two men who said they work with Mac Vik sometimes came to do the work. Nice man & his son - pleasant & friendly and did a great job. Also advised me of a part we needed for a guest room toilet & assured me (since I had asked him) that it was an easy part to install. I was reluctant to do it myself what with the potential for leaks & puddles of water, so I called Mac Vik for the second time within the last few months to replace that part (which I had purchased).

I have two great experiences with Mac Vik in the past few weeks. FIRST. After driving all over town looking for a particular rubber washer, I ended up at Mac Vik, right down the street from me. I had been unaware they sold parts. The guy who works the parts counter was out, but the receptionist did her best to look for it for me, but couldn't find it. When I went back, the guy let me know I was looking for the wrong part all along and told me how to fix my faucet.

I had 2 of their people come out today. They said because I was having 2 of their people out (one for plumbing, one for furnace) I wouldn't be charged for a trip charge twice. They charge a $60 trip charge! They are in Golden, I live in Lakewood/almost Golden. How does that add up to $60?
