I used egarts tree service a few years ago and was very happy with their work and responsiveness. Unfortunately when we used them again a couple months ago, we were very disappointed in their work and trustworthiness. We were out of state for several months and asked them to come by and give an estimate for pruning of a few trees. We had a conversation ahead of time by phone via a friend who was there in person, and we thoroughly talked through expectations of the work. We used John Egart's tree service for the second time in 10 years, just a couple weeks ago. Just as we remembered 10 years ago, once again, they did an outstanding job! They took down eight, 70 ft pine trees 10 years ago along with stump removal, while 2 weeks ago they took down two, giant, 80 plus ft blue spruce trees, that were in EXTREMELY tight quarters, surrounded by houses and fences. They managed to remove them without a single thing being damaged, which is shocking given that each branch was the size of a tree themselves! Tried to contact multiple times to get trees trimmed that were near power lines...played phone tag a bit, but was never actually able to even talk to someone to schedule an appointment. Since it was a safety issue that needed to be addressed, I was especially disappointed and upset. Waste of my time!

We had a large pine tree that started to uproot and lean towards the neighbor’s house. All in the midst of a 70+ mph wind storm. We called a handful of companies and they were all a few days out. Some months out. Our tree wasn’t going to hold through the night. Egart called us back right away and had someone out within an hour. Fair price and his crew was very professional and friendly. They know what they are doing and removed our tree quickly. That same day. Can’t thank them enough for saving us a major nightmare if that tree would have tipped. Thank you Egart tree service! I wanted to remove the tree that was in front of the drive way before it causes damage to my roof and my dad’s and neighbors car. I requested a free estimate and John showed up the next day to take a look. He was able to give me a quote at an affordable price and he’s having his crews show up next week to remove the tree.
