Motus Construction is a licensed and insured general contracting firm servicing the Midwest, with extensive experience in the Chicagoland, Indianapolis, and Baltimore submarkets. Motus began as the internal construction department of Pangea Properties and continued to grow naturally in to its own company, offering the construction services, processes, and relationships, developed over the course of 10 years, to other building owners.

Next Level Contractors! Justin and his team did an outstanding job. Every project has hiccups when you're remodeling an 100+ year hold 3 flat. what differentiates them from others I've worked with in the past is that issues didn't become problems. Navigated though city permits, inspectors and the 203K lender swimmingly - even through COVID. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We had a not so small (reconfigured the downstairs floor plan, rebuilt a kitchen and bathroom from scratch) construction project in our 1900s duplex down done by Motus in the first half of this year. Justin and his staff (including Dan and Nick) were very involved throughout the process from the planning phase to final fit and finish.
The planning process was detail oriented and potential hiccups were communicated clearly to make sure there were few surprises during the process. When there were unavoidable issues (we have some water infiltration in our lower level due to old masonry) we were notified

I had a dream and Motus Construction fulfilled that dream. I had been planning for years to remodel my kitchen. I had floor plans, walls to be taken out and moved. More storage, bigger pantry. Motus Construction did exactly what I wanted. Nothing was out of ordinary for them. Within the time frame they gave me. And within budget.

Fantastic experience with Motus. I will 100% be hiring them again for my next project. I had a 3 flat they renovated for me. We were on a tight schedule and they were at my building all day everyday. Their contractors and sub contractors are hard workers, friendly, communicative, and genuinely care about your investment. They take pride in their work and get things done, and done right. I’ve had a great experience with my renovation and was able to significantly increase my rents. I highly recommend Mouts. They are the best in the business.

I was referred to Motus by a friend after I purchased my first 6 unit apartment building. The building was built in 1960 and was never updated. Justin came out and walked through the entire building with my wife and I and gave us many useful recommendations on what to do and what not to do. I was happy with the quote and his professionalism so I gave the job to Motus.

Motus has been our preferred construction company for quite some time now. After disappointing experiences with other contractors, it's been quote the opposite with Motus. Motus has worked on a variety of projects for our multifamily portfolio including semi-usual unit turns to complete gut rehabs. One key thing that's truly set Motus apart from other GC's is their ability to look at things from the owner's perspective and provide meaningful value beyond the traditional owner-contractor relationship.

Motus Construction helped rehab a two flat on the Northwest side of the city that did not fall into your typical sort of rehab project. Nonetheless, Justin and team took the project on and were able to see the project through an owner’s perspective to ensure we were able to balance quality and affordability. That combined with an overall level of professionalism can be challenging to find with other contractors. I look forward to working with them on the next project!
