In 2005, Adam Miller started Summit Design + Build with the goal of building a company where people loved showing up to work every day; a place where employees could thrive. He also knew a great general contracting and construction management firm is built on a foundation of outstanding, long-term client relationships.

Prompted by the strong growth of the South Florida and Tampa Bay construction markets and with close ties to the area, Summit Design + Build established its first regional office in Tampa, Florida in 2017.

This company has kept construction going ALL WEEKEND in a residential area on a holiday weekend with beautiful weather. And they’re in a jack hammer stage. This decision is without a doubt based on some CEO’s huge salary and bonus. Get it done, no excuses. I only wish his weekend were ruined with loud, constant jack hammering. Unbelievable rude and inconsiderate. Shame on all of them.

We can’t say enough about the team that completed Boqueria on Fulton Market with us. In the construction site Larry Whybrew worked well with the subcontractors to deliver quality details. With the designer, Studio Razavi Architecture in Paris and the client Boqueria in New York, there was a lot to coordinate across various time zones. In the office, Nate Egly, Jordan Andras and Helenia Madrigal kept business end flowing smoothly. Highly recommend you stop by Boqueria Fulton Market for authentic tapas and taste, feel and experience this project for yourself!

Summit did a fantastic job on our Chicago Waldorf Boutique projects. It was an ultra high end build, with 3 different international designers/architects involved, with odds and ends sourced from literally all over the world. Matt Spicer and Ari Killian who were on the Summit team assigned to my project, did a SPECTACULAR job handling the project communication and management throughout. They delivered a product that was not only on time, but with a fantastic level of quality and communication. I highly recommend both the company and the team.

I regularly recommend Summit. They have built a few projects for me as a developer very successfully. Adam Miller will personally do what it takes for projects to be successful, including moving furniture up stairs himself. I think Summit has mastered the mixed (union / non-union) job management and that really sets them apart.
