Best friends, Keith & Keith, began K2 Stain in 2014 as a pressure-washing and staining business. Having backgrounds in carpentry, they quickly realized that although staining can improve the appearance and longevity of a fence, without the proper structural integrity many of the fences they were staining would need to be replaced.
We offer staining services for almost any wooden outdoor structure you may have. Stain helps improve the appearance and longevity of your outdoor wooden features, and should be reapplied every 4-6 years. We use professional grade stain products from Wood Defender, and our team has all completed the Wood Defender Stain School.

I requested quotes from several other companies and selected K2 based on their positive reviews. Keith Morrison was very helpful (and patient!) in answering all of my questions about the different materials and options. The estimate he provided broke out the cost for each side of my fence to make it easier for me to ask adjacent neighbors if they were willing to split the cost of shared sections. Once I picked the final specifications, Keith got the work scheduled right away. Their install crew was prompt and professional. They started around 8:30AM and got the old fence removed + new steel posts

I don't like to plug local businesses... especially if not paid to do so . But really, we're floored by the result.
The cost was a momentary smack upside the head, but (1) our houses have appreciated way more than we deserve, (2) the fence cost is split three ways, since every wood fence has two sides, and (3) your canceled summer vacation to Big Bend National Park plus whatever stimuluses you get will pay your one-third for you.
Anyway, here's a pic of our & our neighbor's side/backyard entry ways. The vendor is on there somewhere.

From our initial quote through completion of 200+ linear feet of wood fencing, we were very impressed with Keith and his crew. Keith took the time to run numbers on multiple configurations, listened patiently to our many questions, and gave honest and thorough responses. Was hired by k2 to install 1000 linear feet of fence in southwest austin, 2 hours into the project things begin to go wrong. keith called me to make the first change after we had started 80; of fence so we make the first change without any new charges. keith had american fence do the material list for the field fence so i had to go there and get the scope of work from them when the k2 fence company should have that ready for me. we had agreed to $300.00 extra dollars for clearing of the land along the fence line, basically the entire 1000' had some sort of clearing and about a 20' section

I received many quotes on my fence replacement and was really impressed with the integrity of Keith. I have specific concerns with a dog that breaks fences and we came up with a great solution--the K2 thick pickets will keep my dog where he belongs! The fence is gorgeous--beautiful wood and very well built. The crew has been awesome, on time, quiet, and respectful. Excellent experience--wish I had more fence to replace--I'd use them again for sure! Great value, great product, great communication.
