I had a great experience with Inland and Luke. I gut renovated a brick workman’s cottage in Bucktown and the best testament to Inland is that I would absolutely do it again with them. Before selecting Inland, I interviewed 11 contractors on-site and called references for two. One thing that stuck out from the reference calling was another woman said every one of the workers was respectful. This matched my experience. I hired Luke and Beata to remodel my upstairs into a primary suite, add central A/C, and refresh the 1st floor guest bathroom. They had by far the best bid and they were very easy to work with when drawing up the plans. They were always on time, organized and friendly. They did a great job on the fly with plan changes and the tile work in the primary suite was flawless. I truly enjoyed working with Beata, the project manager. She is a true asset to the company! I debated writing a review, as it saddens me to read the unprofessional and frankly disrespectful responses by the company, even resorting to calling customers liars. Luke was actually very nice to us so his responses surprise me for that reason alone. I highly recommend Inland for your home remodeling services. Luke and His team completed my 203k rehab project, and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I purchased a two flat grey stone that had been gutted down to the brick, so everything from Pluming to drywall to electrical all needed to be completed/replaced.
After overcoming two bad contractors, Luke and team swooped in to the rescue and exceeded expectations. I definitely plan to work with Inland again on future projects.

We hired Inland to complete a major FHA renovation on our home. We deeply regretted our choice of contractor throughout the entire renovation. The details of this saga are too lengthy for a yelp review, but some highlights include the fact that they demolished a bathroom that was not within the scope of work, without our written consent or providing us with a budget, and then tried to charge us beyond what we agreed to once we learned about the demolition. I used this company for an FHA 203k Loan and initially I was impressed because they come out with their folder and all the 203k docs and give you the impression that they will work with you.
This GC is very methodical about doing the easy work first and not in proper order (like mechanicals first) and then will leave you hanging. I had a moldy basement because he didn't do the HVAC first. After 1.5yrs of starting my project I fired Inland Home Remodeling because nothing was getting done month after month despite all my calls and emails. The project manager kept saying he was out of town

Working with Luke and his team is a great partnership. Today, his team help with snow removal and an ice dam on a six unit building. As he did my roof work, he was the first person I called.

We worked with this company in 2016 for the purchase of our home that needed some repairs. They received over 25k in loan repairs, one of which was a new roof. The worked appeared to be done accurately. However, we began experiencing problems with the roof leaking, when it was only 4 years old! Upon contacting Luke concerning this issue, he stated he would come out to look at the roof, so that repairs could be done. However, he would not agree to a time. We did a $55,000+ rehab of an old Tudor bungalow in Galewood and everybody over at Inland completely exceeded our expectations. The quality of work was amazing and Luke was especially easy to work with given we financed the project using a 203(k) mortgage, which can be a little more of a headache to deal with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys for any house rehab / remodel project. At some point in the near future, we're already planning to have Inland finish off our basement.

If there was a zero star this guy deserves it. He is a crook and a fraud star. I had a 203k loan with this guy, he was my nightmare on planet earth. Did little work and overcharged because it was 203k loan. Another issue with this guy was his workers has no regard and extremely rude. Maybe he is different with other kind of work, but my experience with the 203k loan was HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Inland was hands down the best experience we have ever had with a contractor. They helped fix our siding, re-painted our entire house, did some interior work (vented a bathroom and installed a new kitchen system). I wish I could give them more stars. Luke was very easy to work with, he came a few times in the beginning while we were shopping around for contractors. He was patient and understanding as we had him out 3 times to do estimates before we hired Inland. I HIGHLY recommend inland!!

I bought my first home in November that needed significant updating and remodeling both for aesthetic purposes as well as to bring it up to code. I'm not handy by any means and my 'experience' is limited to EXTENSIVE hours spent watching all things HGTV. From the beginning Inland was knowledge, professional and timely. I had heard horror stories about the time it takes to obtain permits or to even get the simplest of items checked off. Luke will bring a breadth of experience in both rehab and new construction to your project. He found inventive ways to save money and add value throughout my rehab.
All inland employees are extremely professional and trustworthy (I used a lock box and had a handful of contractors working autonomously for weeks-no issues) . Luke is a hands on manager and will resolve any issues immediately with boots on the ground.
I highly recommend inland to anyone.

Our house got water damage from our dishwasher/sink Breaking and we needed a full kitchen & Dining room remodel. We were told about Inland Homes from my brother who used them for their whole home remodel - specifically Luke and how good he and his team were.
