Bradley Built completed a total gut job on our outdated bathroom, giving it a fresh & modern look. We did our due diligence when looking for a team for the job, and we're glad we hired Bradley Built. He's flexible, easy to reach and provides example SKUs and suggestions for materials.

I hired Bradley Built to renovate my two flat in Humboldt Park. They were awesome and knocked out the gut rehab in record time. Not one hiccup and great communication. I would use them again.

Whatever you do, DO NOT let Jeremy touch your plumbing. He is not a plumber, even for something easy. He renovated our kitchen and bath and handled the plumbing himself and it's never been the same since, and not in a good way. A real plumber just left our house after trying to fix our clogged kitchen sink and he couldn't believe the botched job Jeremy put together two years ago. Infuriating.

Jeremy and his crew are fantastic. He gut rehabbed my entire house And his attention to detail is impeccable he is a true artist and craftsman he delivers amazing work and makes things happen he truly cares about his work and his customers. I truly cannot say enough good things about this guy it has been an absolute pleasure working with him and plan to work with him for many years to come. He is truly a lifesaver.I am so grateful for him and I'm really happy I found him he's the best.

We hired Bradley Built to gut renovate 2 of our bathrooms and replace all of our interior and closet doors. Jeremy did a great job and made the process seamless. He is super responsive — responding to my texts day or night within minutes. If there was ever a concern or issue he rectified it quickly and made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it. He used a few different contractors for some of the work, all of whom were great, but Frank in particular was wonderful. We worked with Bradley Built on our new, old Oak Park home. Like most Oak Park homes, there were some structural issues that needed to be addressed. A previous owner had enclosed the front porch but hadn't added the necessary support, so we had to have a cross beam sistered. There were also a couple "temporary" support beams that had been in our basement for a very long time and needed to be replaced with real support beams. Jeremy is a long time resident of Oak Park and is super familiar with dealing with these types of issues. They seemed alarming to us, but he was very reassuring

When I initially posted, I probably would've given him 2.5 stars if that was an option. Rereading, I think I was fair and truthful regarding Jeremy's performance at the time. It's a year later, however, and since I remain generally pleased with the overall project and workmanship in place, I wanted to return and round up instead of down.

Jeremy did an excellent job installing a dryer vent for our second floor laundry hookup at our home. He was fast to respond, provided an accurate and reasonable quote, charged cost for the materials (although minimal in this case), and came on-time, per our arrangement. He was also friendly and efficient, finishing the work faster than I expected, with good quality, and keeping me updated real-time on work completed and work to-be-done.

Two more items to note - my yelp request was sent on a Friday and he performed the installation on a Sunday, as I had asked to have this completed as soon as possible

I own a property management company and we were rehabbing a condo in a building downtown. We got into a bit of a jam with the bathroom tiling and needed some help...Quickly. I reached out to a few contractors or vendors that could do tile, and do it well, and who were also available to do it on short notice. I began researching a handyman on a Sunday to do a few tasks I had to get done. I filled out a yelp form sent it to 4 companies, and Bradley Built got back to me quickly, long before anyone else did.

The price he gave me turned out to be less than the other company's who responded. He wanted pictures of what I needed done, so when he arrived a couple of days later, he knew exactly what to bring. I live downtown Chicago and workers in the past don't like to deal with the traffic or parking, and turn the job down. He didn't mind, and even arrived on time. The work was done quickly

RUN don't walk from Bradley Built. I hired Jeremy to do a few smaller jobs and he did a good job so I fired him to do a full basement renovation. HUGE mistake!

Same experience as most, Jeremny talks a good game and shows up for a week or so but work went down hill real fast. Not only did he tried to charge me more at every turn and sneak higher charges into his bills, his work was absolute crap to the point of not even measuring things correctly. Not to mention: a) not showing up for weeks at a time; b) hiring incompetent subs then sending them to my house to collect their money; c) flooding

I don't know what's going on with Jeremy, but I can validate the things other 2018 reviews have said: took the money and ran, did minimal work, didn't deliver on things as promised, didn't finish the work, left things sloppy, overcharged, hasn't responded, didn't communicate when things wouldn't be done (or when they would)... Even his subcontractors came after me HARD for money... I'm hurt and disappointed. We had a big job we were looking forward to sending his way, but I'm sad to say you just can't trust him.

We had a renovation project which was a substantial undertaking for us. It took a long time for us to settle on a contractor that we felt comfortable with. We decided to go with Bradley Built after a friend of ours had a good experience and recommended them. So glad we did. Jeremy was patient with us (we needed a lot of hand holding) and had some creative solutions to obsticals that came up. His guys were courteous and hard working. We would recommend them without hesitation.

Overall, I had a great experience using their services and feel like they are trustworthy and did quality work. I will definitely reach out to them for other services.
Jeremy (the owner) was very accessible and responsive to my messages, responding within hours/minutes depending on the time of day. I was able to get a quote for replacing an over-the-range microwave and schedule the appointment through Yelp messages without any issues. Worked with Jeremy. He was great communicating the details of the project with me. He also accommodated any corrections to the original project I had. All work was done very professionally.

He worked on installing multiple doors, crown molding and elaborate trim work in a rehab project.

Great communication, great service! They took care of a couple of repairs in my bathroom. They were very good and quick on taking care of the repairs. I would definitely use their services again.

We were desperate to find a new tile installer, after a botched tile job. We found Bradley Built on yelp and had an awesome experience starting with the first email to the finished job! Jeremy answered my email almost immediately, and setup to come out the very next morning for a quote. We had stopped a bad tile job in our bathroom mid-way through by another contractor, because it was becoming a nightmare.

We had a great experience working with Jeremy and his team on a substantial renovation of our townhome that included a gut-rehab of our master bath down to the studs, the addition of a new door to our third bedroom, refinishing our deck, installing a new exterior door, and building a pantry in the space vacated by removal of our stackable washer-dryer unit from our kitchen.

He was always up for the challenge, never gave us a hard time about "one more thing" and billed us very reasonably. At the last minute, the electrician who was supposed to handle our job became unavailable and Jeremy

We hired Jeremy to do several handyman jobs in our newly constructed home. He put together IKEA desks, hung big pieces of art, hung shades, coat hooks, curtains and shelves. It's these details that make a house a home and Jeremy executed with care and precision.

He was always on time and ready with a solution for a tricky corner or a heavy piece of art. We'll hire Jeremy again for these smaller jobs and will have him to to bid on a bigger job, too, now that we know he can handle a building a deck, an addition, a house.
