I really wish I could provide a good review on this locksmith. But I cannot. The man who races around town in the little blue wagon is very aggressive and couldn't care less who he cuts off. Even my wife who was driving me home from the hospital. Yes I know, I'm not telling you his work was bad, but he is a part of Oceanside community. And his bad driving attitude can tell a lot about his professionalism.

Fantastic service. This isnt some big corporation with the rings and hoops to jump through that is seen more and more nowadays. This is a small operation and it shows. I called and the same gentleman that answered the phone was at my door within 15 minutes. Truck opened in 2 minutes after. Paid him and we both went on our way. Simple and easy. I accidentally left my keys in another state when boarding a flight. I had to get to work the next day.
I called ASAP Lock and Key after multiple other places. They came out within 2 hours and unlocked the door, gave me TWO new keys, and was an absolute joy to work with.
This guy deserves your business. I will be using ASAP for all my future key and locksmith needs!!

Obviously if you have to call a locksmith it's not a good day. I locked myself out of my apartment with a crying baby and was desperately looking for someone that would answer and be able to come out right away. He was great in every way came out within 20 minutes of me calling and stuck to The price that he quoted me over the phone. Expensive yes, however after seeing the work needed to get the door opened I'd say it was about right. Again he was awesome did everything he possibly could so he wouldn't have to drill out the lock. And sure enough he got it with no damage to the door

We bought a key fob for our car from ASAP (Joseph, I think). After 5 months, the battery died and we had to replace it. After 9 months, the battery died again. This time when we replaced the battery, the new battery would not stay in place. The little hook that holds the battery in was broken. We called ASAP and he said, the warranty is for 6 months. For $200, I will replace the defective key fob, instead of $270. We will not do business with ASAp again.

So I was having a crazy morning and one of the priorities became getting my door lock changed. I shopped around and other places wanted to tell me an estimate ranging all the way to 200 etc. I just wanted what I found when I called ASAP; a direct price, a completely realistic price (and affordable), and they were here in 25 minutes and out in less. Super nice as well!! Definitely recommend! Their name doesnt do justice but it's a great start. :) thanks guys!

My 2009 Honda civic drivers door lock not working. called ASAP lock and the arrived in an hour or so. to make a long story short spent $275 for new keys and was told if it was not the key they would come out and replace the tumblers. 1 week later lock not working, he came back tried again to no avail. now want more money to repair tumblers with no guarantee, so I am out $275,
just had the repair done by another mobile lock smith and cost $180. DO NOT USE ASAP LOCK AND KEY OCEANCIDE....HE RIPPED ME OFF!!!

I was faced with an emergency that required a locksmith as soon as possible. I had called several and was quoted a price of $50. None of them could come as soon as I needed. When I called ASAP he said he was 5 minutes away and would be right there. I was so relieved! He showed up and I could see he wasn't as experienced as I hoped but he muddled through (had to recharge his drill while I waited). When he presented the bill I almost fainted! He was charging triple what the other locksmiths charge for the simple job of cutting a lock. It took 15 minutes, including recharging his drill. I believe
