Home for the summer between his Junior and Senior year at the University of St. Thomas, Jerad Poling was asked to help family friends move into a new house. He gladly accepted, started preparing for the move, and at the end of it all, was compensated for his efforts. An idea was born. He and his friends decided to help others in the Eau Claire area move for the remainder of the summer.
While we take great care to ensure your personal items are not damaged, there is an inherent risk of damage to items associated with moving. In order to mitigate this risk, we offer several affordable valuation coverage plans. We offer the following valuation coverage plans. The payouts for any damage to your items that we cause is determined by the items weight and your selected level of protection.
Yes, we are bonded, licensed and insured. We meet all MNDOT insurance requirements of professional moving companies in Minnesota. You can request a copy of our insurance policies by contacting our office. The Muscle Movers are employees of College Muscle Movers, LLC and are covered under our worker compensation insurance.
Moving can be stressful. That's what makes our Muscle + Truck service such a good option. We take care of the truck, padding, wrapping, securing, transporting and unloading on moving day. But, before all of that, we work with you to determine the best plan. We know everyone's needs are a little different and no two moves are the same.
We recognize that sometimes you simply need some strong helping hands to get something smaller done or you maybe want to rent your own truck. Our Just the Muscle service can do it all. It is by far our most versatile offering. We can load your items and boxes into PODs or a rented truck for a cross-country move or maybe you only want help with half the move.

Hired CMM to help me move my heavy items from one apartment to another on the other side of Minneapolis. The truck and movers showed up on time and didn't waste any time getting started. I had 14 items in total, including a couple of very large and heavy items. Door to door took just under 2 hours, much quicker than I expected. I would definitely use this company again and recommend to anyone else that is moving.Good service and a very reasonable price.

We bought a couch and realized after it was delivered to our front door that we were not going to be able to move it in ourselves. With rain in the forecast, we needed to get it inside ASAP. Called a few moving companies but most had 2 hour minimums, which was out of budget for a quick move. We found College Muscle movers and they fit us into our schedule that day and only had a 1 hour minimum for a muscle only move. The guys were punctual, friendly, and treated our new couch carefully. Great service booking on the phone as well. Highly recommend this company!

I can’t recommend this company enough!! From start to finish, every person I interacted with was fantastic. The online inventory list was easy to use and so helpful. The team sent helpful communications and gave a heads up call the morning of our move. Each and every mover was respectful, careful, and thorough. The conscientious furniture disposal was convenient. The process from load up to unload was seamless even in the heat and humidity. Highly highly recommend!!
