This is a truly one-of-a-kind showroom and operation. "Showroom" is actually a joke of an understatement, because Danish Modern L.A. could more accurately be described as a massive, beautifully curated, world-class museum of Scandinavian mid-century modern furniture and design, WHERE EVERYTHING IS AVAILABLE FOR SALE.
Jessy (co-owner) was a dream to work with on picking out a table for my apartment. Knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to work with me on a couple things, such as delivery to Santa Monica.

Last year I moved back to Southern California and I decided to invest in furniture and to not only buy used but buy from a small business. I'm not near Danish Modern but I made the drive, it seemed worth it. And it was well worth it. The owners have created a dreamy, relaxed space where one seems to stumble upon something new after each lap they take. It is so clear that each piece is of integrity and that the owners know, understand, and are passionate about the restoration process.

Danish Modern LA's showroom is such a breath of fresh air. Unlike many Mid-Century Modern stores in LA, Danish Modern's space is full of light and space. (No chaotic towers of furniture here!) Everything on the floor is beautiful and each piece has been carefully restored. It's a wonderland of treasures that is a pleasure to walk through!

Walking into Danish Modern LA’s showroom was like walking into a museum, but it was even more fun since all of the items are for sale and could be appreciated from our home. They had the best selection of Danish modern dining tables, all beautifully and lovingly restored.
We were grateful to see their workshop as well. The attention and care they put into restoring every piece of furniture they sell is apparent. Danish Modern is a great find. They carry hard to find, unique, beautifully made pieces of furniture which literally cannot be found anywhere else. All furniture and electronics are fully restored. The staff at Danish Modern are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The store held our furniture at no cost for one month, then delivered the furniture flawlessly with very helpful, friendly and careful movers.
This is hard to beat. In fact, the only reason I am not giving five stars is because the location is hard to find. Once you find it, you are in for an amazing shopping treat.

The folks at Danish Modern were wonderful! We sent them pictures of our furniture, they provided a very fair price for the quality of the work, picked it up exactly when they said they would and returned it with as much care. We had a table and set of chairs refinished and now they look like new. We would highly recommend them for anybody who has mid-century modern furniture that needs some repair. Wish would have have known about them before we sold our bent wood recliner that needed some work.

I have been following Danish Modern LA on Instagram for a while. I found a hand-made chandelier in the style of Adrian Pearsall they were featuring. From the beginning I was pleased with how I was taken care of by Jessy at Danish Modern LA. Jessy's responses to my questions were prompt and detailed. Purchasing and shipping the chandelier couldn't have been a smoother process. It was packed so snugly that it could have survived a trip to the moon and back without a scratch! It was a bit tricky buying a vintage piece online, but Brandy went above-and-beyond to provide details, and quickly answered any questions I had. We were concerned that the finish would match some of our existing pieces, and Brandy had her team create a sample of the finish for us so we could put our minds at ease. The piece was able to be shipped to us the day after we purchased it, and it arrived in impeccable shape -- beautifully refinished and just like new. I couldn't have been more thankful that we stumbled across this place while in the area. My boyfriend had inherited a couch that certainly needed some love other than being kept in my mom's garage for storage. We kept it there until we found Danish Modern LA. Jesse (co-owner) was such a pleasure to work with. He helped me pick the perfect fabric. He really understands the history behind designers and provided suggestions based off that. I've known about this great shop since I lived in Echo Park (7+ years ago). Since that home was more traditional, I wasn't able to take advantage of their incredible assortment.
Fast forward to 2017, where we now have a mid-century modern condo in Palm Springs. Bam! Found the perfect credenza for the living room. To. Die. For.
Danish Modern LA was super accommodating with delivery, so the whole process couldn't have been easier. I recommend you take a look (online or in store). Definitely worth the trip!

Had a wonderful experience purchasing a dresser here this weekend. I had emailed earlier in the week and received a response from Brandy right away. Anthony was in the showroom when I went in and was extremely accommodating and professional. The showroom was beautiful and the dresser was exactly what I was looking for.
Scheduling delivery was a breeze - I received the dresser the next day (even though it was a Sunday!) and the delivery team was right on time.
Could not have had a more pleasant transaction!

The furniture here is impeccably refurbished and this is more of a showroom atmosphere compared to other shops where it's dark and crammed with stacked furniture where you have to dig for that one treasure piece.
I did not find the associate to be aloof as another reviewer mentioned, whenever I needed something Brandy the sales rep was very helpful and accommodating. And I was there a long time.
Other than that she left me alone to look at all the pieces. The place is big and has a ton of furniture to see.

Brandy Martinez, the corp sales manager, will 'memo' your item for just the cost of delivery and pick up, so you can see if it matches your space. We did this for the 2nd order which we bought sight unseen and then once it arrived, purchased it.
Our first order, where we toured their warehouse in East LA, was awesome. A young guy (forgot his name) and his sister showed us around the space and was very patient as

I love this store! I have bought several pieces here and absolutely love them. I found the staff friendly and unobtrusive- I like having time to get to know the furniture and visualize it in my space without being pushed. After my purchases were made in the store they were delivered to my house in perfect condition. I am intrigued by the earlier review about a haunted piece, but if my purchases are haunted, the ghosts must be benign!
