I wish I could leave a negative review about A1. They should be called Number2. The person that came out to Salty Hammocks in Carolina Beach to replace the lock was very rude and inconsiderate. Hopefully they will go out of business soon.

I was first greeted with short, curt (simply rude) behavior. And that was from the owner. I tolerated it to accomplish my task and while waiting, he brought a small tin box from the back that belonged to an elderly gentleman. He was requesting a key to be made for this yard sale trinket. It had a few coins inside & je was curious to see the contents. When the owner brought the box back with 1 key, the man inquired about another copy. The owners response was exactly this, 'I made two because I ALWAYS MAKE A DUPLICATE OF EVERY LOCK.' I can make you another one but I keep a master copy. I don't know

My husband and I had a great experience. I called last minute yesterday afternoon needing help getting into our gun safe before Friday and they were booked up but were willing to fit us in. Carl helped us get into the safe without breaking it by helping us figure out the actual code. The code from the manufacturer was incorrect all along.

Bought a used car from a local dealership. They only gave me one key after we exchanged titles. Said it would cost $300 for a duplicate remote control key and I had to make an appointment for an hour. A 1 did not require an appointment. They created a duplicate in less than 5 minutes for $140. Bravo!!

I went and lost the only key to my dump truck. One of my clients recommended them so I decided to contact them. I called them up and they told me with my title and license I could get a new key made. They had a new key manufactured for my truck and I was out in 15 minutes. Definitely recommend them. They charged a reasonable price and were easy to deal with.

My home is almost 14 years old and a few of my locks were sticking and not opening easily with a key. I visited this company after Hurricane Florence and even though they had some damage to one of their vehicles they sent out someone to replace these locks and to add some new dead bolts right away.
Al showed up and was very helpful and expedient in replacing some locks and to rekey some old locks I had. I was extremely helpful in his service and with the guys at the shop on Carolina Beach Rd.

Visited the folks to get my car fob fixed. Came recommended by several friends. A simple fix but not everyone want's to help with this except the car dealer who want's $135.00. A-1 was great and got me out the door in 15 minutes, $52.00. Done. Very nice and cordial people and I cannot say enough. Highly recommend.

Worst locksmith in town. I Bought a very expensive car key there. The guy had to read the manual and he told me I was the first customer to ever buy an electronic car key there. I had to buy the key up front before they ordered it when I got the key it was Mitsubishi key and I have a Dodge. They didn't call to see if that was okay or anything. The key finally opened the door but not with the remote. I could only use it in the door. They wouldn't give me my money back. I was so angry I had to leave or was going to do something I wold regret. That key also broke within a few months and
