The Piano Wrangler is Austin's most innovative piano moving service. Our company has more than 19 years of experience safely moving pianos into residences and businesses. With the help of tools such as "The Piano Horse" and the "Floorguards" invented by founder Gordon Crail, the Piano Wrangler can place pianos in places other movers call "impossible".
Services
We do not charge for work not done, and we prefer to work as little as possible. It's part of our philosophy "work smarter, not harder." If there are stairs at a location that can be avoided, we'll avoid them if it makes the job easier. With that being said, keep in mind that we're also not going to take a piano half way around the block to avoid stairs (unless it's easier of course.)

Hands down the best piano moving company you'll find!
We contacted a couple of other movers before finding the piano wrangler. We wanted to take our baby grand piano up two flights of turning stairs. The other companies were not confident they could move the piano and suggested we uninstall some of the windows to crane the piano up into the room.
The piano wrangler was the only company that was confident about moving the piano up the stairs and they did a great job!!
Very professional and hassle free!!

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
These guys moved a piano for me for $160 bucks. NEXT DAY. I contacted a ton of other moving companies and they all quoted me almost triple this price if not higher and had tons of additional fees. If you have a piano to move dont even bother collecting quotes - just call these guys <3

We wanted to pass on a vintage piano to a new owner; we agreed to split the moving costs, and she picked Piano Wrangler to handle the move. Superb choice! This local company is efficient and affordable. The two guys (brothers, I think?) who moved our old and heavy piano took care to secure it carefully, moved it out of our house quickly and without any problems, and delivered it to its new owner without any problems. Excellent service with this difficult task -- you couldn't ask for better results. Lots of other movers or junk haulers won't touch pianos, or charge an arm and a leg

Timely, professional, relational, skillful, and fair in cost. They also were available for a last minute but urgent move.
My piano is of age and needed physical bracing for the move and the team took care of that. It’s in temporary storage and the team moved it in, turning corners with no problem.
Lastly they were able to give needed guidance on some next steps in my restoration process for the piano.
I will be using the Piano wranglers again!

This was my second time using Jason and his team. First time was them moving my piano upstairs, the other day was to have them move it back downstairs. I can't say enough about them. Very nice, responsive and uses extreme caution to not ding any walls or damage piano. They work very well together as a team. They wore masks the entire time moving my very heavy piano down a curved stairwell, bless their hearts. Definitely recommend!!!!!!

I can't recommend this company highly enough. I've used them to move my piano three times, and each time has been completely seamless. It took them less than half an hour this last move, including 10 minutes of travel time. They're fast, efficient, and extremely careful. I didn't even have to re-tune my piano afterwards, which is unheard of. Their prices are fair and straight-forward, they don't charge for travel time getting to your house, etc like all the others, and booking is easy. If you need a piano moved, these are the guys!

Great Company, fast friendly service. They always kept me updated as to how far they were out from arriving at my home. This shows me how important your time means to the customer. I called on an early morning Sunday and they were at home in Georgetown in just a few hours.
I highly recommend them !!
Thank you guys !!

I have used the Piano Wrangler for several moves and overall it is always positive! From my last move, here are the pros and cons.
Pros - on time, efficient, friendly, good price, and most of all SO helpful. They even helped us move a few extra pieces of furniture into our truck because our other movers fell through last minute.
Cons - they forgot to pack the 2 piano benches, meaning I had to pack them myself, taking up valuable space in the car for my big move. Other big con is they took out my DampChaser system (a humidifier) without asking. They assured me I wouldn't need it (!!!!) which

Was quoted half the price of what their competitor quoted me. The movers arrived precisely at the time they said they would and also sent me a text to notify me when they were on their way. My piano was transported to the new destination without a single scratch. Would recommend this company to everyone looking for a reliable and insured transport.

A piano was my first purchase of the year! I purchased a small walnut console piano (40") from a family. No stairs or turns required in the move.
I first contacted them at 10am and had them scheduled by 10:30 to come at 12:30pm. Fantastic, FAST service! I arrived maybe five minutes after them to the pick up location and they had the piano fully wrapped and packed into the truck already. The truck had side padding built in(ideal for moves for expensive furniture) and they wrapped it in a moving blanket. They had a platform dolly to wheel it in and out of the truck. They also padded

Wow! Amazing!! Helping my mother in law move to Texas, we had a baby grand piano needing to be moved from the back of a Penske truck. It already had the piano board and removal parts off. I found this company on yelp, saw that it was still open on a Saturday night at 9pm and requested ASAP help. Jason was superhero status- like the hulk! Showed up exactly when he said he would 10pm and had the piano set up in 15 minutes! That's amazing service and stellar work ethic! So thankful for Jason and Piano Wrangler to help finish this move. Thank you!!!!! If I ever need a super hero, I know who to
