I've always been a person who likes to support local businesses. When our wooden board on board fence needed repair, I found Armor in our town. The estimator came out promptly, gave me a quote, and they had us on the schedule 6 days later. More impressive is that they completed the work in a single day and the quality is spectacular! I'll be going back to Armor to have he entire fence replaced in a year or so.

I received a quote in May 2021. Same month as my neighbor with precisely the same dimensions and conditions as me. For reasons that can't be explained away by lumber prices, she received a much lower quote. When I asked about it, Armor tried to explain it by stating she received her quote earlier. But this doesn't explain how Armor's competitors were able easily beat the quote they gave me even though they are subject to the same spikes in lumber prices. If you don't know someone or have some kind of baked-in advantage you can't get a fair price with some companies.

We got 5 estimates from local companies and Armor’s price was very competitive but what made Armor stand out was our sales person Kevin. He was always available to answer our questions, was very helpful and honest. He truly made our experience wonderful.Our project was projected for 6 weeks out and they came through in two weeks. I was looking to buy a vinyl fence. I requested a quote online. Kris showed up very professional, timely, and knowledgeable. I got the quote, and it was double over other quotes. Not sure what went wrong? Maybe he thought I had money or they do not need the business. Kris stated their company would be competitive in our first meeting, so I sent a nice email asking why the price seems so out of line. Maybe the price was a mistake. Hmmm, I have not heard back. My husband and I recently bought a house and hired Armor Fence to install a 4 foot cedar fence and accompanying gates in our back yard. When getting a quote and scheduling the project, I mentioned that the fence was primarily for our large dog and expressed that we specifically chose 4 feet to take extra care that she would not be able to jump over it. When the men arrived to install the fence, we were home (or close by walking the dog) for the entire morning. We were very happy with the cedar privacy fence that Armor Fence installed. We called Armor based on the good reviews we saw here. Kris and his team removed an old, rotting fence, and designed a new fence to meet our needs. It looks fantastic. Armor Fence's price was competitive to other bids we received, and their work is great. They were easy to communicate with and very responsive - i would highly recommend Armor for any fence job.

I had a good experience with Armor Fence. Brian was great to work with helping us understand our options. We asked him for every possible type of fence quote and he was always quick to provide us with what we asked. We had several other estimates from other companies and Armor was by far the most responsive and had the better price, and the only company to follow up after a quote was provided. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 is because of some frustration on my installation date being changed several times. My wife and I recently had a 6 foot wood fence installed by Armor Fence. Gary was in charge of estimating the fence cost and provided us with a package that we used to make our request to the HOA. I was prepared to give the job to a previous bidder until I reviewed everything from Gary. Not only was he at least 25% more reasonable then the other two bids, but the workmanship and cleanliness of finished job exceeded my expectations. The install crew was questionable. I did in fact ask questions. However, the crew did not speak English and no foreman was onsite to speak with. Work took longer and I had to call several times to inquire about when they would be back. Install crew left a lot of trash behind, including nails and screws. No follow up after the deck was complete.
I have little kids and they pick up whatever they see.
If I have to manage the process the way I did I should be billing Armor

I called around asking for quotes. By far the cheapest and most responsive was Armor Fence. Jeff and his team were responsive by phone call, email, and text as needed. We decided to go with black ornamental fence and gates on each side of the house. On one side it was going to be a double gate. It turns out after they installed it, the gate wasn't exactly flush with each other due to uneven sloping ground. They allowed us to swap to another gate and we went with another single gate. Everything lines up perfectly and we are very pleased with it. Lots of compliments! Attached photo is from master

I had my double fence gate replaced by Armor fence in November since they originally installed the whole fence in 2010. The repair wasn't under warranty but I thought that since I wanted the gate to match, going with the original company was the best option. Matt is very responsive but the wood is cheap wood. Like cheap Lowe's wood. When I complained of the wood warping after 3 months I was told to just go get some wood from Lowe's or Home Depot to fix the problem. Matt said he would install and replace them at a cost to me. I said no. I will not use this company and I will be removing

Armor Fence just completed my backyard fence, and they did a fabulous job. I have a flagstone patio where posts are embedded making the job more difficult; nevertheless, they jackhammered specifically where necessary to produce a seamless fence, leaving the flagstone intact. Matt was great about communicating to make sure I ended up with what I wanted.
He underbid two other companies, yet the quality of Armor materials and of their work far surpasses that done by another company on my other side fence.

My hats off to Armor Fence and specifically Keith Brantner. I called Keith wanting to get a quote from at least 5 different companies. Keith was my first call. He said he could meet me at 10 a.m. I unfortunately I had to be at work. He asked what time I needed to leave the house which was 7:00 a.m. he pulled up at 5:50 a.m. ready to go. So not happy with these folks. I got a fence installed 2 years ago. Wooden with wooden gate. As well as some chain link gate replacements. Communication and follow up were marginal at best. About 6 months ago I needed them to come back and fix (which I was glad to pay for) the gate, which kept coming out of balance and not shutting properly. I called and emailed them and got no response. Crickets. I finally called MC Fence (leesburg va) and they advised a non wood gate which has done perfectly. Armor lost a good customer (me)

Armor Fence installed a replacement section of our fence for us recently. We'd solicited a number of quotes, but went with Armor because they were the first to respond and offered the best price. On his initial visit to our house, the Armor salesman noticed a misalignment in our existing fence gate and offered to fix it while the crew was there (they did). The crew's work was on-time, quick and efficient and the resulting fence looks great.

We were buying a house in manassas and during one of the inspections michael came out (even though we didn't own the house yet). He measured everything out and gave me an estimate on the spot. We also had a couple other companies come out once we bought our house but armor was lower than the competition by about $1,000. The price difference combined with several friends recommending armor fence made our decision a no brainer. Do not bother.
These folks are a waste of time. They sent out a four color flyer. When I called it took 3 days to get a return call. Their salesman came out four days later, spent an hour taking measurements and despite two phone calls to him, never produced a bid. This was a $10,000 job. A call to the owner did not warrant a call back.
Stay away. Unreputable.
