Go Green Solar Solutions (GGSS), located in Westlake Village, is Southern California's largest and most experienced solar power energy contractor, with more than 36 years of experience in solar solutions for local homes and businesses. Go Green is your one-stop solar shop, specializing in solar electricity, battery backup, solar hot water, solar pool heating, and warm radiant floor heat.
Go Green Solar Solutions (GGSS) is a licensed, bonded and insured General & Electrical Contractor (B, C10, License Number 1009682). GGSS has designed and installed residential, commercial PV systems in the Los Angeles area since 1981. In commercial solar power, Go Green Solar Solutions has earned the highest customer and industry recognition by providing accurate system performance information and by being reliable, responsive and trustworthy.
In Southern California, utility electric rates consistently rise every year. Solar electricity from GGSS can help you save hundreds on your electric bill or sometimes even eliminate your electric bill altogether. These savings add up to thousands, and because a solar power system can last up to 30 years, you'll save for decades to come.
A typical solar power system only operates and provides power to your home when your utility power is working. During a power outage, you lose access to utility power, but you also can't access the power your solar panels are generating. Go Green Solar Solutions offers built-in battery backup systems that make it possible to use your home generated solar power around the clock, or in the event of a power outage.
Love your pool, but hate the high heating bill? Solar heating for swimming pools is the most cost-effective use of solar energy, and pays for itself in 3-4 years. We use the finest Heliocol solar pool heating systems, and custom-design a system for your home. Heliocol uses the power of solar energy to safely and inexpensively heat your pool to a warm temperature, so you can enjoy your pool year-round without paying high heating bills.

This company installed my solar panels and turned them on in July 2007. All has gone well and the system has operated as expected. At the time their name was Solar Electrical Systems and they had already been in business 30+ yrs. But this year my annual net bill was almost double the usual, so I called the same number I’d had back then, and they immediately answered with their new name. Same company tho, not a buyout. He immediately pulled up all of my system’s information and gave me details, explained possible issues, and is sending an email with instructions. I am to take pictures of the

This is a great company to work with. They installed the system years ago, and it works really well. Recently the inverter needed replacing after 15 years of service. I called them and described the problem. They were out at my house the next day, and had my system up and running again perfectly. I was expecting to wait weeks for service. They are great!

Solar Electrical Systems installed my 32-panel system in 2010. It was everything the company represented it to be. My electric bills averaged less than one dollar.
Recently, a problem occurred related to one of the support beams to which the panels had been attached--a problem that a less forthright contractor could have argued was due to faulty work by the home builder. Instead, the President of Solar Electrical Systems, Greg Johanson, met with me at my home and then stepped forward. The company disconnected the panels, installed a new beam at its expense, and reconnected the panels.
