We bought our house in April of 2021, Tomax came out to check out our heating system, after inspecting the unit that came with the house, they noticed a handful of issues with how our system was plumbed and a few other things that weren’t up to code. We decided to switch over to natural gas and ditch the oil furnace we had. Tomax coordinated with the gas company for us and made the entire process painless. Max has been servicing my a/c and furnace for years always quickly and efficiently especially in a emergency situation. In June my A/C went down and needed to be replaced. Max gave a quote and at my request got the old unit to work hoping to get me through the summer. It broke down in August and it was hot. Max got a great crew here the next day and my house was cool that night. (Thanks Sean and Gus). I'm recovering from a surgery and spend a lot of time inside so the quick service was much appreciated. My furnace broke in the middle of the winter and they scheduled a date ASAP to replace it. Maybe even like 2 days after I called which was amazing. I got the AC done in the spring which took a little longer to schedule. I felt like all the staff was helpful and nice. My attic stairs got messed up with the up and down of replacing the furnace and they wouldn't close when I used them a few days later and they were nice enough to come back and fix them. No complaints over here.

I worked with Tomax in the Fall of last year as part of the Energize CT program. The work seemingly went well but they weren't able to finish one part of the job. I was easy and was happy to schedule that part until the Spring. My documentation went in to get approved for the rebate and I was denied as it was told to me that my contractor (TOMAX) had installed the wrong equipment. I contacted TOMAX and was told (by him) that Energise CT was mis-informed and he'd fix it. I sent him my denial letter, and stayed in contact with both Engergize CT and TOMAX to see the process through
