I was quoted $1500 for a two person move and told on the phone that he expected it to come in around $1300. The total price ended up just short of $2000. We were directing where boxes needed to go, but a good chunk still ended up in the wrong room. My wife is disabled and having to reshuffle boxes was a big physical hit. We also had at least two boxes left behind for an out of state move. We also keep finding more and more damage — the mechanism on a wall mounted desk has been broken so that it can no longer be mounted and pieces of our bed frame were left behind.

I’ve used Baby Boomer Movers for two moves. The first was to move was within the same building. They did such a good job I hired them again when I moved houses.
Fred was very responsive and the movers he sent over were amazing. They arrived on time and got the job done much faster than I expected. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them.

I got in touch with Fred and his company about getting a very heavy vintage organ moved from a tiny and tight basement. I was certainly worried about not damaging the new homeowner's house, or the organ. Fred's communication was easy, kind, and very on point. His team arrived on time, and immediately began their professional quality of work quite literally man-handling this 400+ lbs instrument out of the basement. Fred and Steve were awesome! They came with only about 12 hours notice because they knew I had an urgent job. They were on time, respectful and kind, efficient,andmovedour stuff very carefully out of my mom's housed into the place where she was moving. They were very reasonably priced.

Fred and Kevin are the best!!! They came and moved a bedroom from Wellesley to a storage unit in Malden and were on time, courteous, professional. Fred made a stressful situation so much easier -- I'm moving out of state in a couple of days and even told me that if the relocation company gave me a hard time to call him and he would help iron out any issues. Can't recommend them enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Fred and Baby Boomer Movers. They specialize in elder moves and they hit the ball out of the park. I needed to move my mother into another unit at her assisted living facility. We were downsizing her space so it was really two simultaneous moves --- transporting some of her belongings to the new unit and transporting other items, including a piano elsewhere. Fred was able to scope and schedule the move in one call. I was scheduled to move within one week of that call. They are efficient, friendly, respectful of their client's possessions and concerns
