Use to come here for years to get my car serviced for oil changes etc until my last service in April/May.
Meant to do a review but haven't had a chance til now.
My car had issues of shutting off while sitting in traffic. Had a diagnostic done and nothing was found but it was believed my battery connection was bad.
Replaced the battery connectors and problem was resolved so I thought.
2 days later still experienced the same issues called about it and another diagnostic was done no charge.
This time when I went in to get my vehicle I was told my fuel injectors were leaking and had to get replaced

I have been looking for a 2008-2011 Lexus LX570. These cars are pretty hard to find, especially during a pandemic. I did not choose South Tacoma Auto out of convenience, or because of who they are as a dealer; I chose them because they had an LX570 in their inventory.
I left contact information through an online ad I found on autotempest.com, and John, their internet sales guy, contacted me within two hours...on a Sunday! He sent me extra pictures of some specific areas of the car

I'm going to go ahead and give them 5 stars, I never give anything 5 stars but as a car dealership this is by far the best experience I've had. Came to look at a newer car and trade in and ended up taking the car home the next day in a way that made me comfortable and happy with my decision. Everyone I talked to was extremely polite. The family owned business is willing to work with you come to what you would like and then you go sign papers. The company who they financed me with is local and I actually have heard of them so that was nice to see and made me feel better when I started

I appreciate the Yelp community because they have not led me wrong yet. I was looking for a auto dealership to help my mom purchase a pre-owned vehicle in Tacoma Washington.
And the Yelp community referred me to South Tacoma Auto. I started reading the reviews and a name jumped out over and over by the name of Kaleo Gonzalez.
My mother and I decided to go and ask for Kaleo over this weekend and what a great referral!
Kaleo deserves every five Star plus+++ in his customer service, professionalism and friendliness in helping his customers.

We had a great experience with South Tacoma Auto for our new Used Vehicle purchase. We worked with a few people through their internet department and ultimately made the 1.5 hour trip to visit them. They were the only dealership within a 75 mile radius that gave us the best price upfront on the vehicle we were interested in. When we arrived we worked with Ray who was phenomenal. The dealership and car were very clean and the entire staff were very professional and friendly. I completely recommend working with this dealership for the great customer service and the value of their vehicles.

I got into a car accident earlier Sunday morning December 15, 2019 A drunk driver ran the red light and hit my car(the only car I bought for my kids and I) Bad timing too,it's Christmas week..... luckily South Tacoma Auto (Ray King) helped me out finding an affordable car that is able to drive me and my kids around running important errands and not only that, it helped me save money on gas Thankyou so much South Tacoma Auto!!

Our car deem as total loss because someone hit our car , with bad credit we were left with no car .. and No hope .: because we were going through some tough stuff this couple of months ..
We weren't sure if we get an approve or anything like that but Don and Carl helped us get a car on the same day , brought our car the same day .
It's just a normal another day for them but they for sure changed our life !!

I have to say that I am very impressed with South Tacoma Auto. Being a single female I always have had my suspicions when it comes to car buying and maintenance of a vehicle. South Tacoma Auto has won me over on both. Earlier this year bought a 2016 Hyundai and it has been a great car. And yesterday I took it back in for an oil change. Not only was the price reasonale, but the service was quick and best of all they didn't try to sell me on a service that my car didn't need. And once I got home, Kaleo, the original salesman reached out to ensure that I got taken care of. Who does that
