Hartland Homes, a locally owned company, has built over 2400 homes in and around the Lincoln area since 1984. At Hartland Homes we believe everyone should have the opportunity to own a brand new home. That is why we build high quality, affordable entry level homes. When Hartland Homes builds your brand new home, we build it with experience, knowledge and stability.
The Sales Specialist will show you plat maps of our neighborhoods with available homesites. Narrow your choices and go "walk the homesite" to picture your home sitting on the homesite. Hartland Homes now gives you up to forty five days to decide how to make our plan, your home. During the forty five day period you can decide what options, if any, you want to add to your home.
Choice is very important to our buyers. When you build your home with Hartland Homes, there are many financing choices offered by our preferred lenders. Some of these programs include: FHA, VA, Conventional and USDA loans. You can put 20% down or nothing down* (must qualify for VA, NIFA HBA or USDA).

As a long time real estate agent, I had never worked with this builder before but the recent sale we had with them was superb. Mike the superintendent was timely, professional, and great to work with.
The final walk thru was phenomenal. There was almost nothing on the punch list, the few items were handled immediately!

Mike at Mendoza, the project manager on our newly built home is a world class builder for Hartland Homes. This is twelfth house my family has lived in and had built for us...only Hartland Homes can we say this about. There’s not a close second because builders usually take shortcuts or hire available subcontractors. Hartland has strong deep and close friendships with their sub. And that makes a huge difference in the quality of workmanship. We interviewed at length 8 other builders in H ernando and some inPasco. There simply is no better builder. We’ve been in our Hartland home for almost 2 years now and absolutely love it. The whole process was easy and they were always willing to answer any question we had along the way. They even let us install a type of flooring they didn’t offer and gave us a credit for doing so...what builder lets you do that? None that I’ve ever heard of. Thanks Hartland for building us an amazing home at a reasonable price!

Dealing with Hartland was my worst experience when shopping for a new home builder. Their prices seemed the best until I started looking at quality of construction and customer service. The salespeople I spoke with were rude and unresponsive, and the agent made it very difficult to work with him. Finally, their estimated time to complete construction was the slowest and would have made financing more complicated. If you're looking for more options, then I'd recommend Pastore Custom Builders which is who we eventually decided on after months of research.

Really great people. We found our house while it was already under construction. We were able to pick out the colors and flooring. We love our house. The workmanship is great. After closing Mike Hartland said to call him anytime if we have an issue. He gave us his cell number. I've call him a few times with questions and always answered or called me right back. We did have a problem with the garage door rollers a couple months after we moved in and the problem was fixed right away. I highly recommend Hartland Homes to anyone one looking to have a home built. Thanks Mike for a beautiful home!
