Everyone on the Black and White team is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to quality results. Greg took the time to help us pick the right options for our needs, wants, and budget, working around the unique quirks of our 40-year-old home. His team was very courteous, quiet, and clean. Greg checked in on progress frequently and worked alongside the team often, which impressed me. After dealing with other contractors, Black and White is truly a breath of fresh air: honest, responsive, and dedicated to ensuring we were happy with the results.

As everyone knows, a General Contractor is only as good as his subs. Over the years, Greg Simmons has gathered a team of subs to do draw from that adheres to these three words. Having experienced a variety of different contractors previously, I noticed that when I brought Greg on board, I never needed to worry about the security of my belongings, that subs were wasting time on the job, or that a shortcut had been taken that I would only discover later down the road. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the day.

Black & White delivered what it promised! I was looking for a custom home builder that can could remodel my outdated kitchen and give it a more modern look. I had a limited budget so, honestly, I really did not have too manyhigh of expectations., but However I am was more than happy with the results. Highly recommended for kitchen remodeling!

I was not happy with my older bathroom and wanted to remodel it. I came across Black and White when I was searching online for top bathroom remodelers in Houston and I am glad that I chose this company. The staff is experienced and helped me with choosing the right designs. Overall, I was very satisfied with their offerings and will surely continue to recommend this company.

Really liked their work! Called them in to fabricate some exposed beam floating shelves around my entertainment center.
Greg was there at the start of the job and offered up opinions and Oscar was very meticulous with measurements and advice. The work was completed in about two days and they did awesome an job matching the stain on the wood up with our media console and exposed beams.
Definitely try them out and I'm sure you will be happy

The idea of building a new home always excited me but I knew it was going to be very stressful. I did extensive research and finally contacted Black & White. I am very picky about my choices and to my surprise, the company made sure that they gave attention to my every detail. I wanted to build a home that was not just visually appealing but highly functional as well, and I can say that I got exactly what I specified. 5 stars to the team!

Black and White Construction (BAWCON) exceeded all expectations for $98,000.00 home renovation project which included the replacement of all windows along with interior and exterior repair and paint in the Southampton/Rice Village area. We carefully reviewed and considered three bid proposals before selecting BAWCON because of the large scope and difficulty of our renovation project.
