Emerald Green Landscapes has been servicing the lawn care needs of the Birmingham Metro area since 2007. We are a family business, locally owned and operated, with over 12 years experience in the industry. Our owner is a certified Horticulturist and uses only trained, certified technicians. Our fertilizer blends are custom-made to our professional specifications and are the same as the ones used on golf courses and athletic fields.

The goal of our Tree & Shrub department is to provide a quality program of timely applications for control of certain insects and diseases. Some insects and diseases can be common problems such as: Japanese Beetles (June Bugs), Tent Caterpillars, Anthracnose (Viral Leaf Spot), and Shot Hole Fungus.

Core Aeration Report

Core aeration is one of the most important things you can have done to your lawn each season. Warm season grasses such as bermuda, zoysia, and centipede should be core aerated after spring green-up. Cool season grasses like fescue should be aerated in conjunction with seeding in the fall.
