I recently moved to another city in CA. Sajan singh came with a big truck and two support staff and helped moving everything. Desi movers are very reasonably priced and very easy to work with. one quick suggestion here, please make sure to communicate very clearly what needs to be done. If you want packing and moving to be done, please mention clearly otherwise they will only move your stuff and expect you to pack things. Jagmohan-ji is very nice to work with and easy going. He promptly checked a day before the move and everything happened on time as expected.

We moved on October 11th. Our movers were Jagmohan and Sajanpreet Singh. They were very fast and efficient. I just had to tell them what furniture and boxes to put in their truck and they took care of it. Jagmohan Singh was very patient and kind throughout the process.
Also, they go out of their way to help you move. My apartment is on the 4th floor and our parking garage entrance was too short for their truck. Nonetheless, they parked their truck far away and came all the way to my apartment to drop off items. They also wore a mask at all times which is good during this pandemic.

I used Desi Movers to move from San Jose to Fremont. It was full day operation. Desi Movers showed up ON-TIME, loaded the 4 BR furnishings by 2 pm and were done unloading in Fremont by 8 pm. The team did a geat job and the owner Jagmohan Sahib was in touch throughout the day. Thank you Jagmohan Sahib for a great job.

DO NOT HIRE or you WILL regret it! I went with them last year and believe it or not even writing a review after was stressing me out..to have to relive the horrible moments. Long horror story short - hired 2 movers to move a studio with literally 5 furniture items( coz fam had moved all the boxes previous day to save time next day). This guy sent 3 ppl of whom only 1 spoke English for us to communicate, spent 4 hours and at any given point there was only 1 guy in sight and the other 2 MIA. At one instance 2 of the guys were not to be seen for an hour and this one guy sitting at home apparently

My previous review got overwritten when I posted an update. This business owner is threatening me with consequences!! Shows his overall attitude towards customer service - he could've checked with me and asked for details. This was a move booked for Pleasanton in Oct. 2019 and it was made in my husband's name, Madhukar.

Good service. The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. The move was efficient, completed within time. Moved stuff from Fremont to San Jose.
One recommendation: The movers (not the owner) were slightly rough with handling stuff, can do better in handling items with care and communication with them was a bit difficult.

I took moving service from many companies before but Desi movers have excelled and exceeded my expectations. Recently moved from Fremont to Dublin and I must say they are just the best. I was skeptical how would they move my stuff thinking they may not have professional experience but got amazed with their work. So careful, professional and on time. Finally, they are the cheapest in town too.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and patience! These guys were sufficient, hard working, and so kind! We went from Fremont to Dublin and these guys had to go up and down 3 flights of stairs without complaining or damaging anything!
They showed up on time (earlier the better) and finished fairly quickly! 9:30-3:00!

They were recommended to us by someone and our experience was horrible. Finalised them in advance for 10AM on Sunday morning, we don't hear from them until 10:30 and then when we call, they say that they are busy and they don't care of their boss did double booking and can they help us move on the following day. We would've had to pay extra rent and take leave from office on Monday, which was out of question. So, that was so unprofessional of them! We had packed everything, all the boxes were outside and ready to move and they bailed on us in a horrendous manner! Thankfully we found

Please do NOT use Desi Movers. We had an appointment for 1:00 pm. The move was local, within 4 miles.
We kept waiting, but they hadn't showed up. The owner, Jagmohan, would not take my calls. In desperation, we started calling around, but no one else was available. Finally, at 3pm, Jagmohan said they were on the way. We still kept waiting. He did not respond to calls/texts. Finally, they showed up at 5pm - four hours late.
The workers were tired because they had already done two moves. They were rude, and disrespectful. One man, Saajan, kept dropping stuff and looking at me challengingly

These are the most sloppy, careless, shameless people ever. Even when everything went wrong they had no remorse and were unapologetic.
Move: Hayward to San Jose on 3/17
1)I requested a small truck and gave them my small inventory, they show up with a truck that could fit a house
2)Driver complained about the destination which was established early on with the 'owner'
3)Inexperience driver hit a balcony in my apartment complex and said: 'No worries it's just an accident'
4)Drops night stand and boxes from the top of the stairs and everything

Everything good things and services you have heard about Desi Movers are absolutely 100% true. I recently used their services (on sept 24, 2018), Jagmohan and Ranjith are excellent and they made my move into new house so smooth and comfortable. I was so tensed about my crockery and furniture and other delicate stuff. Not even a scratch and everything was moved, packed and unpacked by them so well. Their rates are also the best. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Loved working with this team through our move when move-in date changed and they were able to accommodate our move-in request! I would recommend them for efficiency, fairness and were happy the cost and flat rates, would use again!
One recommendation would be to improve communication and taking extra care of fragile items w/ better packaging and handling.

Couldnt have had a worst experience. They crew (2 people against a prior commitment of four) showed up on time - and without any packing material, and more importantly, misisng the supervisor who had come in previously and done a detailed survey. Called the backoffice and they said they dont have much packing material since all their crews are off to other customers - but he did show up with about 12 boxes and some packign tape etc. This was for a 4 bedroom house move!! In the end, me, my wife, my son, etc had to roll up our sleeves and get packing, boxing, loading the truck. A third person

We tried to stop payment on these guys do to the severity of the damages and the length of time they took to move us. Unfortunately we didn't get to the bank on time.
We were scheduled for 10am to move from San Mateo to Fremont. They called at 10 to say they had truck problems and were running late. Ok, we read the reviews. They are always late. Well... they didn't show up until 1:30pm in the afternoon!!
We were quoted $139/hr for 3 movers. Only 2 movers showed up. We were charged the same price!!!
