Chuck Haselwood opens up his first used car dealership in downtown Bremerton on 6th Street. He offers what was unheard of at the time - a 30-Day Warranty on all of his used cars. Haselwood acquires the Toyota franchise which was placed into the Buick location. Kia franchise was acquired and was one of the first 25 dealerships in the Country.

I have been driving cars since 1957, mostly new I have been driving cars since 1957, mostly new ones. I have not owned a used car since 1964 when I graduated college. Recently I decided to replace my 2008 Chevrolet Equinox. I decided it was time to break my two cardinal rules of cars - never buy a used car or a black one. Unreal honestly. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Happy to take my money and treat me like trash after. Been trying to get ahold of someone in finance since a little after my purchase in early December of last year. Called many times, left multiple messages. Not a single call back yet. Never received some important financial documents. They don't seem too eager to get me those or the rest of the money they owe me. Made a significant purchase and sold them my car. Don't see myself doing business with West hills again.

Getting the car was the only easy part about the experience with this dealership. Any questions or concerns, involving appointments, or contracts, or getting plates and tabs on time have been a nightmare. It takes weeks to get a reply on anything important, and the finance department rarely answers their phones. I would highly recommend choosing a different dealership.

They sell cars that break down within the year, and won't help you after that. You will be stuck paying the car that broke down and forced to sign another loan for another car. The bank and dealership lock you in and force you to sell them your broken car for basically nothing compared to what you paid them for it.

We've bought several cars from West Hills and never had an issue. However, we bought a car and the financing dept falsely represented an add on called Xpel. We were told it would cover any dings to the front end of our car. We had a rock chip and was told since it chipped the paint it wasn't a covered incident. Why would you ever get rock chip protection if it's not covered because it damaged the paint????
We highly discourage anyone from purchasing their Xpel protection. It is not what they represent and is a waste of money.
