Finest Fence

Front fence needed repair along with new wooden gate. The entire process till the end was professionally handled. The price was reasonable and the result of the work was very satisfactory.

The sellers of our home left us Mark's business card since they installed the fencing in both the front and backyard. Mark came out and gave an estimate for several of the gates to be repaired due to soil shifting etc... Mark is a great guy - he even suggested we hire a painter to stain the fence to save us some $$. He sent 2 guys out to do the work, both of whom were very polite and professional. Highly recommend!

We needed a small handrail for our front door entry. Finest Fence came to do the work and it was a wrought iron / metal handrail. It looked nice and does what it should do.

However, after a few months, the concrete that the iron post goes into was cracking and falling apart. I thought a simple phone call into them would have them come out and repair it, since they are licensed company and that they were recommended to us. And obviously something was wrong with the concrete that they installed.

I had a gate that needed to be repaired. They said they would do it, but it would have to wait a month. I said ok and scheduled an appointment. The day of the appointment Mark Kaesberg emailed me to say they would have to reschedule due to forecasted rain. He said they would reach out to reschedule. They never did. I emailed to remind him we needed to reschedule and he never responded. I understand it was a small job, but at least respond!

Mark is the owner of the company. His crew came and did everything in one day. The quality of the installation was very good. We ended up going with steel post and redwood fence with very strong staples. Our fence will lay at least 30 years now! We are very happy with Finest fence. Communication was great! Melissa is the project coordinator. It was very easy to get ahold of her and she was willing to work with us when we were waiting for our neighbor to respond to us. We would definitely use them again but probably not because our fence is going to last for a long time. Well so far so good. ;)

Hiring Finest Fence has been such a great experience. Normally businesses show up slightly after they say they'll be there. The people at Finest Fence showed up slightly before the scheduled time. They were very efficient and worked quickly. They finished our back fence in only 2 hours! My husband and I were amazed by how quickly they worked and the quality of the work. The entire process with FF was so smooth. Mark's crew was very professional. We had to adjust the fence height a couple of times as there were steps in the wall below. The guys were patient and wanted to make sure I was satisfied. They also used highest grade redwood and sealer and were fair on their price. Huge difference compared to my neighbors fences. Wish I had read these Yelp reviews before hiring. A clear pattern of neglect, nastiness, and yelling at customers. They cancelled the night before our start date. I called Melissa back explaining that this would be a big loss for me & my business. Their estimator, Doug, was aware that my business depends on having a secure perimeter. Finest Fence lives up to its name. I reached out to and met 5 fence contractors in the San Fernando Valley for a shared fence project with our neighbor. Out of all of them, Mark was the best. He is confident in his company's work; he is a master of his trade and his company's work proves it.

Much like some of the other reviews this company is very hard to get a hold of. I had to leave several messages to even schedule my first appointment. Then after they did the gate I contacted them for a couple of final things that I would have been happy to pay extra for and after leaving several voicemails I finally had a request to send pics. I sent them and never got a call back. 3 months later I thought I tried again and when the owner called me back he was nasty and unaccommodating and denied that I had even tried to contact them. I didn't find their work good enough to put up with that

We used them for a large fence on our property. Doug the salesperson was easy to work with, honest and was very helpful along the way. The crew that we had was awesome and are super professional! We can't say enough about how happy we are with the end result.

Do yourself a favor and call Finest Fence first! I struggled for 2 weeks to get an estimate for a fence that was in dire need of repair and other companies couldn't be bothered to even return my call. Every step of the process with Finest Fence was a piece of cake!

I left them a single message and received a call back to schedule an appointment the same day. STOP CALLING AROUND - THIS IS THE FENCE COMANY YOU NEED TO USE!!!. We had 4-5 quotes and all of the other people really didn't know what they were doing and it seems like they just subbed out their work.

Mark KNOWS his wood and his fences. He stepped us through everything, types of wood, references and is an honest guy. Now here are the details of what we had done:
1) Con-Heart Readwood (a must in my mind)
2) Shadow box style fence (check out the pictures)
3) 150 feet of fencing that he made level in areas that weren't and keep the fence streamlined
4) Sealer - done by a pro!!!

Mark is a pro! He's punctual and organized. Most importantly, he's honest! The pricing is reasonable and he's upfront with everything that needs to be done. You can trust and observe from his experience that he knows everything there's to know about fences and gates.

I hired Finest Fence in part from their jobs I saw going up in the neighborhood and the great Yelp reviews. The work they produced for my job was of decent quality. After payment was made I did contact the company to correct some items that were not as described in our discussions with the estimator. Those corrections were taken care of, no problem.

The following week our neighbor had some additional work done by Finest, that attached to the original work. We had our side of the fence stained when the original work was done but the new addition that was attached and faced our side was not stained

Mark's quote was thorough and covered every aspect of the fence. We originally had Mark out to quote us on adding chain link fencing on a sloped back yard in order to help keep our dog from escaping. This morphed into adding a wood fence one side of our home to a gate and then at the last minute adding another 30 feet of wood fencing. Mark was able to accommodate all of our requests no problem
