We were so impressed on how promptly they responded especially on a Sunday morning and sent out a technician. Issue with our system not blowing hot air. I called them for the first time this afternoon. They said someone would be out at 6:30pm. Richard was at my home assessing the issue at 6:30pm tonight. He replaced the faulty equipment and serviced the system. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and I know I will call them the next time I have an issue.

Mitchell Heating & Cooling came after hours to fix my air conditioner that stopped working. I've used another company for years and still have not received a call back from them. I remembered a post I read about Mitchell and after the call center took my information I received a call from Angelo within five minutes. I was told of the fee for him to come and then we'd go from there. He arrived in 15 minutes, in the dark, and discovered the issue. After witnessing them take advantage of an older lady I would not recommend them at all! Spent 2 hours working on AC yesterday and didn't fix the problem. Came back today and the first guy worked 10 minutes and hung around for 2 hours. Then the 2nd man showed and was there about 1 1/2 hours. They were there so long we were wondering what they were doing. The AC is supposed to be fixed..we will see. They charged her over 800.00 for the job. The first guy who showed up did not what he was doing at all. He was so unprepared had to borrow tools to work with. Then he said unit was fixed and house would cool down in about an hour. No it did not. Had to call him back finally he called someone else. They told him the part he needed. Needless to say I had to wait until the next day.

Our downstairs AC unit wasn't working. I called Mitchell's before they opened Monday morning and left my information with the answering service. Short version: Angelo arrived earlier than expected, found the problem, went to get the part, installed the part and we had a cool downstairs by mid-afternoon. I had my air-conditioner installed in 2017 and it has been nothing but problems. I paid close to $10,000 for the unit and in 3 years after instillation I have spent another $6k getting it fixed. I had a system installed that can flow more air to the upstairs or downstairs depending on the temperatures. The regulator has frozen over five times which cost me around $100 for Mitchell heating and cooling to come out, defrost

I can't say enough on how much on what a great company this is to work with on our HVAC systems. We have had them do annual service on our dual system in WF for at least 5 years. They are always pleasant, prompt and do quality work. The person who answers the calls tries her best to get a technician out as soon as possible that is convenient for us. And the technician, Richard, is very knowledgeable and works very quickly. I contracted with Mitchell's to replace my HVAC system in August. The work was well done, but the final price was higher than the quoted price on the contract. When I questioned my salesman about the discrepancy, I was told that there had been a misunderstanding. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but they never responded.

Mitchell Heating & Cooling is without any doubt the company you will want, if you are looking for honest analysis and peace of mind in your HVAC decisions well after they are gone. Mitchell's team is why they are well regarded in the Raleigh market. We have done business with Mitchell H&C since 2004., in 3 different homes. A year ago one of our three HVAC units died, after getting several quotes I was recommended to call Mitchell by a neighbor. I'm glad I did. They came out, quoted a competitive price that was for the same system I had been given by others but was in general about 10% overall less. In addition they of course did all the testing to make sure it was the proper unit instead of just quoting it like others did, also they secured all the proper permits ect.

What a rip off. Expensive and poor workmanship. I had a fan motor and capacitor replaced. I was charged $450 for parts that cost less than $100. The total bill was $560 including a trip charge ( the trip charge I understand but a 400% markup on parts ? ). I called them back when I noticed a noise coming from the unit. They replaced the fan blade this time. I was charged another $200. $150 for a $25 part (600% markup) plus a $43 trip charge. When they replaced the motor on the first visit, they removed the fan blade. Prior to them servicing the unit the first time, the fan blade was NOT

Could not be happier with Mitchell Heating and Cooling! I would pay twice the price just to deal with these guys. Their entire staff including the ladies that answer the phone are knowledgeable about HVAC systems. Their guys that installed the unit were polite and keep our yard clean.
