We recently had fence installed that borders our small city yard. Fence itself seems decent (except for a pole or two set in the concrete a bit crooked). But during the process the crew messed up some of our landscaping, left a very sharp, jagged piece of wood where they'd torn out a previous fence post, and failed to put up a fascia/barrier at the east end of the fence, so now the neighbor's river rock slides under the fence and settles in our grass.

Cowboy fencing built 3 12 by 24 foot horse stalls with gates and another 60 feet of pasture fence. Changes in scope were initially handled professionally and at reasonable cost. What appeared to be Quality work was completed on time.
I have edited this review based on our experience after completion of the project. The wooden posts were improperly installed and were unstable. Due to movement of the posts, the installed gates did not function and tension could not be maintained on the high tensile wires between posts. Cowboy Fencing saved us after a windstorm took out an entire side of our fence. Scott the owner came out and gave us an estimate to repair and also replace that side of the fence. My neighbor and I decided to replace it. We made arrangements with Scott and cowboy fencing and their crew came out as scheduled and remove the old fence and installed the new one. They were professional and cleaned everything up and have been very happy with the fence. We asked for very specific fence and gate work to be completed. We needed it done by a specific date. The terrain was steep, and the space was crowded. Cowboy Fencing crew arrived on time and completed the work to our specifications. The site was clean and the waste materials were removed. We had no need for follow up. We would definitely use them again.

They did 2 sides of our yard at different times and did a great job. The back fence we’ve had for over a year now still looks brand new and they did just as good a job on this one they just completed! They were professional, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves, and my fence looks great! Scott is easy to work with and I would happily refer him!

I would stay away, far away. As many of the reviews suggest, Scott was prompt to come to our property and quote the project and came across as a straight shooter. Turned out to be the complete opposite. Most unprofessional person and group I have ever dealt with. Took our money and ran after an incomplete job where the craftsmanship is terrible. Didn't pay his subs for the job either. I hope no one again hires this group and reads these reviews before considering hiring them. Crooked.

The fence itself looks nice, however staining and painting wasn't included in the quote. We got a quote which looked fair compared to other quotes and passed it along to neighbors. The owner made comments how "he did a low quote to just get work and doesn't know how he's going to give our neighbors this deal". We were just trying to help a company out.
The job took longer than expected, they were supposed to be out here on Friday and postponed until Monday, which is a bummer when you have a dog and are waiting. But that was alright!

Had an appointment for Scott to come last Friday July 20, 2018 to install a new fence on my property. He Never showed up, never called and still hasn't contacted us with an excuse or explanation. I saw a post where he has sold his business. Extremely disappointed for the lack of professionalism to leave customers waiting without any sort of explanation.

Our fence looks great, I don't love the gate but that's more to the location of it then anything with the design or quality. Oh and he was about 20% lower then others on price

Cowboy Fence owner Scott Peterson provided an almost immediate quote for my neighbor and our shared fence. Work commenced within a few days. But almost immediately, service deteriorated -- from okay, to sketchy, to alarming, to absolutely shocking.
After completion of our fence, shoddy workmanship was discovered, the most egregious being the backwards

We recently had Cowboy Fencing install about 90 feet of fence in our back yard. The owner, Scott, was knowledgeable and genuine in his manner and his estimate was about 10% lower then some of the bigger companies. His guys showed up on time and started to work as agreed.
There were a few screw-ups, including fence posts being cemented in place even though they were not spaced properly and receiving 6'x4' gates instead of 4'x6' gates.
