I am not happy with this Guy ("Ernie")!
He was supposed to take care of me but so far has took advantage of me. I ended up paying more than what I signed up for. Please don't tell him your selling your home because he will get you! He raised the price of his bid without asking and got his money from close of my home vs. Waiting for his payment from me. I received money from insurance but was much less than what I paid Ernie. So far he has accepted a discrepancy but has not solved this $ refund issue yet.

Upon first meeting with Ernie to schedule our roof replacement, he asked for available dates to complete the job. I let him know of upcoming dates that we were going to be out of town and told him that we would like to hold off on replacing our roof until we were back home. Despite my request, Ernie's crew showed up to drop off materials and complete the roof replacement on the days we were out of town. Instead of being notified by Ernie, i received a message from our neighbors letting us know that roofing materials had been dropped off.

Ernie did a significant project for our rental. He replaced the roof on the home and garage as well as repair drywall damage inside the house. He and his team did a great job executing the project in a timely manner with good communication.
He handled the communication with the insurance company so I barely had to lift a finger. Really satisfied with the work and the communication.

I reached out to Ernie's Roofing Siding Gutter to get an estimate for siding and gutter work on my mobile home. I was told I would receive a text informing me when he was going to my home site for an evaluation, after not hearing from him in the timeline I was given, I called him and he said that he went and took a look at my home (no text as I was told). His evaluation of my home was that he did not recommend removing the existing siding (he said it would compromise the structure of my home). My current siding is water damaged and rotting and possible mold underlying, his recommendation was

BEWARE! Although Ernie's Gutter and Roofing has a number of good reviews (he only shows those ones on his website), he also has quite a few negative ones. Be sure to read all of these before deciding to hire Ernie. I ended up hiring Ernie without first doing so, which was a huge mistake. Also he has a F rating with the BBB even though his website says he has an A+ rating. Review those complaints as well before considering to hire Ernie. These are the reasons I would never hire him again:

So, second time to review this joke of a business. My first review was a bribe so that Ernie would finish the darn job! I have had several problems, leaks, bad drainage, gutters are positioned wrong for the house. Have called and called, he always says we'll be out... NEVER HAPPENS!
There are way too many great businesses out there to waste time with someone that promises everything till pay day then, disappears with your money never to be heard from again!

Worst decision you could make. I will add more when there is time, but 9 months later, my siding is still warped and messed up and Ernie can't seem to answer a call. When he does answer, he promises he will come out and fix the problem but never shows up. I'll upload pictures and more details soon, but DO NOT USE ERNIE'S COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE TIME, MONEY, AND YOUR SANITY! Currently writing a complaint to the BBB.
EDIT: BBB complaint which Ernie said he would resolve within 2 weeks... MONTHS later... 2nd BBB complaint filed with no response from Ernie. Now filing

DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! Signed contract for new roof/new siding
- Wasn't told when job would start next thing i know guys just showed up on a Wednesday morning with no warning, VERY INCONVENIENT!!! Workers destroyed my tulips, old roof was thrown on them, very sloppy
- Roof was done in one day, Siding took 4 days, UGH!!!!
- I had 3-4 Large Ladders in my yard for a week after work was done, I had the antenna that was taken off the old roof in my front yard for a week, had to call Ernie to tell him to pick them up!!!
- Met with Ernie to give final check one of 3 to finalize all work

Ernie installed the siding on our house. Later some of the siding came off and I tried to get him to replace it but with no luck. I said that I would pay for the repair but still no luck. I started calling the 3rd week of August, 2016 and made my last call this morning 23 January, 2017. Called 2 or 3 times a week. Ernie answered the phone about half the time and always said that he would call me back, but NEVER did. Also contacted him by email sending pictures of the needed repair. Always received back the perfunctory automated response saying he would get back to me, but just like the phone calls

This review is based on phone interactions with Ernie's Roofing & Siding & Gutter. I was shocked by how helpful, patient, and knowledgable Ernie was. I have never had a contractor be so courteous and informative on a phone call.

I bought a fixer-upper and needed new gutters/soffits/fascia. Ernie's Gutters was the only company that actually had a website with all of the info I needed, had referrals and was AVAILABLE to talk to me whenever I called. I got a very quick estimate (less than 24 hrs after I called) and Ernie made sure I understood what each item was. I did get estimates from two other companies and Ernie was not only MUCH more affordable, he was able to do all the work himself. Other companies were not equipped to replace my entire gutter/soffit system and wanted me to call other companies to coordinate

So we're in the midst of a big job with Ernie! Roof, gutters, paint on a large Victorian building in uptown. Ernie has been so great and very responsive with updates, and handling our requests. Fast estimate. Agreed upon a plan including emailing pictures of the job. A different guy shows up unannounced on a random Saturday with no warning and he had no idea what the job we discussed was. I was not home so he said he had to leave and do a quick job then come back. I got home and waited all weekend to show him what we agreed upon in our email discussions including pictures. Guy Never came back. I texted and emailed my contact - and got no response back at all.

After receiving a competitive quote from Ernie's Gutters and being assured that they would be able to get our house done quickly, I signed and returned the contract. It was important that our new gutters were installed quickly, as we had landscapers coming and wanted to have the gutters in before they began work. Ernie was slow to respond to voicemails and emails and ultimately never showed up to do the job. It wasn't until after our landscaping was finished that a crew arrived to begin work, but it was an entirely different company that Ernie had asked to come do the work for him

Advertises no job is too small - apparently that isn't true. I needed some gutter repairs and Ernie sent me a quote quickly. Now for two weeks he is avoiding my email and phone calls. I can understand if the job is small and he's not interested but have the courage to say that rather than leave potential customers hanging.
