Out of the 4 quotes the best price. Install date was on the 14th. My fence was up in 4 hours. Didn’t required a deposit to come measure. Although they were only responsive by email. I am a very happy customer.

Very good work but customer service leaves a lot to be desired. After giving my deposit for the work, I received an email stating that install would be Thursday or Friday. Thursday afternoon I emailed to find out a more specific timeline and was told via email that I was scheduled for tomorrow, which to me meant Friday. No call or email on Friday. I reached out numerous times. My family was then woken up at 7am on Saturday by 3 neighbors calling and asking why we have people installing the fence so early on a Saturday. Started not great I came outside to point that there was a underground dog fence and water lines. They didn’t care even though I had marked them. The fence looks great I give them that. I contacted the owner about the broken dog fence and the 28 plastic caps they left all over. He was only worried about they are only responsible for marked utilities not a dog fence even though they never called 811 to mark anything. He didn’t ask how can we make this right. I contacted this company and ask for a quote. I'm moving into a new home that I'm not physically at yet. I asked for a quote to install a fence prior to moving in because we have several large dogs. I called and no one answered. Several hours later I got a phone call. The representative on the line was not customer friendly or someone that should be answering the phone. She ask what type of fence. I explained it was chain-link and we needed it to go around the entire property with a gate. I’m pretty displeased with the fact I have made two different appointments for an estimate and the person scheduled to come out has missed both. First time, she answered the phone and when I mentioned the appointment she was apologetic and stated she was in Monroe on a big job... I stated I understand mistakes happen let’s reschedule. We rescheduled for that Saturday morning at 930 am, Saturday at 930 came and went. I tried to call after 10 then 1030, no answer. I texted that cell number, no answer as well. They had the best prices, you need to have patience for scheduling times. They install top product very nice job.

Matthews Fence put in a wood privacy fence for us. We are very pleased. Wayne was very pleasant to work with, and the installers did a professional job installing the fence. I am currently looking forward to having them do another job for us.

One of the owners repeatedly told me that mine was "a small job" and they would squeeze me in after completing larger jobs. Maybe that is why they changed my appointment time more than once. Don't expect the courtesy of a phone call. They will email you and hope that you are glued to your inbox so that you will know they are not coming. They will show up when it is convenient for them, not the customer.

We called Matthews Fence to have a section of our fence removed. We learned from Wayne that they had installed our existing fence several years before we moved in. After getting a quote for the work (removing a 40 foot section of fence), we asked them if they had a LIFETIME warranty on gate adjustment and the replied YES, they would do the adjustments when they came out to do the job. At $790, we chose to decline the work and do it ourselves. When we informed them that we had completed the job and asked about the gate adjustment, suddenly the LIFETIME warranty no longer existed. Their lead guy for installation has to have a 10 rating. He was polite and without asking explained why he was a bit later than planned. Very acceptable explanation. Went right to work. All we needed was a gate installed in the fence at the back of our property. He explained a few options that we had and he promptly began the install. It was amazing to watch this craftsman work! IMPRESSIVE to say the least. As he was finishing, I just had to share my favorite chocolate with him ! ! ! One of the few craftsmen/workers that I've seen clean up at the end of the task.

Wayne and the fine folks at Matthews Fence really do a fantastic job with their Fence work. To them it’s personal and the level of detail (power lines, topography, neighbors lot lines) they put into the project is very evident. I can’t say enough great things about the excellent job they did.

Put gate in wrong location. Make sure you verify where you want the gates. They didn't verify with me prior to install. When I showed them the e-mail stating where I wanted them they stated that they couldn't be expected to remember e-mails because they get a lot of them. Made me feel like a number instead of a valued customer. They did offer a $100 discount on a new gate which is why I give three stars and not just one star. You just need to stay on top of them since they are a volume outfit.

Initially got quotes from 3 different fence companies and their price was best. They told us the would start work on a certain date and never showed. I had to call and email and finally someone called back and said due to weather they pushed us back a week. A week later came and nobody showed. After pestering them again someone called and said they will be out and they finally showed and did half the job and said they would returned tomorrow. They never did. I'm hoping they return Monday. Hoping for the best. My neighbors have their fences by them and they appear to do great work. Seems like

Matthews Fence was awesome. They were extremely quick to reply to our initial contact and got someone out to give us an estimate within 24 hours. The estimate was lower than other quotes we received. The day of installation, the owner came out just to chat and introduce himself which was very nice as well. The workers were very nice, kept my yard clean, and did great work very quickly. Could not be happier.
