Robert and Myrna Bennett, who began their careers in the fence business in Torrance, CA, over 55 years ago, founded Fence Factory in 1972. Kenney was great! I had read reviews before selecting fence factory to install my fence and gate (which turned out beautiful). What sold me were the comments regarding Kenney and the work done along with noting that the company has been serving Ventura County for more than 40 years!
Kenney, came measured, made recommendations (tongue and groove..I wanted privacy) and gave me a quote.
The only snafu was waiting for delivery of the wood. When it came in, his workers George an Alejandro did a fabulous job. They were conscientious to detail. Kenney got them started and monitored their work

Inexplicably hostile and unhelpful. Wow, I've used them in the past to put three rail fencing around my horse property and they were great (was many years ago.) After completing the online "bid estimate," for an iron fence around a patio, I asked for someone to come out to get measurements and a final price. First e-mail I get from Leslie is telling me how busy she is and it will be several weeks before she can get to me. OK, I understand busy, but that's not a great way to start the conversation. Quite a bit of my fence blew over in the last big winds we had in Ventura. My neighbors and I contacted several fencing companies for bids. Kenny Austin from Fence Factory got our vote. My first time here and it will definitely be my last. Their is some old women in the office constantly yelling at the people at the desk. The office and shop area is a dump. I needed some fence pickets. They charge you for what they claim is top notch heart redwood. It's all wet, moldy, lots of holes and mostly sapwood. They also don't have listed prices and the price magically changed from when I called and went to pick it up.
They get 1 Star for actually having what I needed. Other than that go to Home Depot or Lowe's if you can. They make you walk thru this shop that has numerous

Porta-potties were emptied with a loud machine at 6:16 am at a construction site that is not to begin any work until 7:00 am by law. Running a loud machine at 6 am in a residential neighborhood is inconsiderate. This company is breaking the law and I will report them to the City of Ventura.

The Fence is awesome, They installed a fence between my backyard & our pool, so my grandson will be safe when he plays out in the backyard. They called us a week before we were scheduled, & fit us in. Greg is awesome... The installers were clean, nice, & did a great job!!! L.B. should be proud of her employees... they are awesome!!!!!!!

210 picket-3 rail cedar fence, gate, and stain (blue can). Thanks again for the service, helpful delivery, great wood quality, easy staining application, and easy returns for overestimates.
My two son-in-laws and I completed in two days. Pre-staining was the most time consuming part. Highly recommend your metal flanged posts. They were installed 15-20 years ago and made the take down and rebuild easy.

When I set up the appointment, I mentioned that we would need reference material on stains, types of wood and styles of fencing and gates available.
When he showed up he had nothing to show. It was like he was making choices and decisions that were mine to make. He gave me no options whatsoever. None. He was also very reluctant to elaborate on estimation of labor for the removal of the old fence. I don't think I want to trust them any further. We shall see.

I want to highly recommend the Fence Factory to anyone who wants a beautiful new fence installed! I was very impressed with their quality work and the work ethic of the installers. The company was quick to answer any questions and solve any issues that arise! The workers were polite and friendly. I especially appreciated the clean up at the end of the day! When calling for an estimate, be sure to ask for Kenney! He is the best!!

I had the Fence Factory do a chain link fencing job for me. The quality of the installation was pretty marginal. The gate was a bad fit. The posts were not plumb. The bottom of the fencing was several inches above grade level in two spots...possibly allowing my dog to "tunnel" below the fencing. It required me to do a lot of "tune-up" work after they were gone. The estimator (Kenny A.) was good to work with...and he is a good man.

Contacted Brian Ferris about a problem with one of our side gates that were installed a few years ago. The gate was rubbing against the posts making it difficult to open. Brian and Amador and crew were quick to respond and remedy the problem by replacing one of the hinges. The gates works great now. Excellent customer service and warranty. Thank you gentlemen.

Fence Factory installed a nice redwood fence for my neighbor on Teloma dr. In the process of boring holes in the concrete to set post and then concrete them made a high mess in my driveway. They also dug up pavers and left pieces in my driveway as well. Didnt bother to clean up when they were done. A free repeatedly ask them to take of their mess. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARROGANT.

Very happy with the job. All appointments were on time and as advertised. Salesman, Jeff Green, was extremely knowledgeable and delivered as promised. The job entailed replacing wrought iron fencing on top of a block footer that was 30 years old. The crew was friendly and the finished product was great. Highly recommend.

So frustrating- I made an appointment for an estimate on a Friday. Even though I wanted a Friday afternoon the salesman Jeff G said an 8am appointment would work better for him. I agreed to adjust my schedule to accommodate him. Come Friday he had still not shown by 8:30am. I called the Fence Factory and they said "Huh he should be there soon". By 9:10 am I was so frustrated , I left to run my errands. I never got a call or any sign that he had ever shown up.

We had Ron from their Saticoy office come out & give us a quote. Even though it took us over 30 days to get approval from our neighbors to proceed they honored the original quote.
By the time I got back to Ron the fence was partially blown down by the recent strong winds. Even though the schedule would have had us waiting 2-3 weeks Ron & his colleagues understood how desperate we were & had workers on site in less than a week. And they knocked the fence out in 2 days!
