Over forty years ago, RoofCrafters, Inc. was little more than two men with a ladder strapped on top of a car. Today, it is a well-equipped and diversified company with a team of professionals who are ready to meet your commercial and residential roofing, remodeling, and exterior siding needs. Our dynamic team even includes two third-generation RoofCrafters, Inc. members.
Due to its popularity and relatively easy installation, shingle roofing companies with less-skilled workers abound. When you think shingle roofing, forget the image of the composition, 3-tab shingle roofs you saw as a child. After my neighbor refered Roofcrafters and I realized they were a local company, I was excited to support a local business and improve my roof quality after having damage from a hail storm. They provided me with a lot of details and consistently checked in with me, that is until I signed the contract and paid the insurance deductible. After that, it seemed that I was their last priority and I was never kept in the loop on my roof + gutter scheduling. When the guys arrived the day before the roof job, they didn't even let me know they were at the house and we just heard loud bangs on the roof

We contacted RoofCrafters after the big hail storm this past Spring in Central Texas. Our insurance company told us our 1 year old roof and gutters were completely damaged and needed to be replaced.
We had Al come out to give us an estimate and he came out immediately and even did some remediation to the damaged roof to temporarily stop any leaks until they could get the material ordered and scheduled.
Al did a tremendous job keeping us updated throughout the process and even worked directly with our insurance claims representative.
Ronnie then did a great job coordinating schedules and timelines

We had Roof Crafters come out to our home in Taylor to put up Hardie Siding on our home and to replace some of the doors on our older sheds, as only the doors were rotting. We also had them replace all of our old, unsightly gutters. The crew came out and completed all of the siding work 1st and then the they replaced our old gutters that were in terrible shape. The work that they did was so impressive!! The new gutters are almost invisible as they blend in so well with our home. The crew completely cleaned up after themselves each day as well. Roofcrafters replaced our roof last year when we were preparing our home to go up for sale. We had a very tight timeline to get an estimate and have the work completed.

I used Roof Crafters to install a metal accent wall on the exterior of a home I am building, and I couldn't be happier with the service from start to finish. I was unfamiliar with using metal as siding for a house, but these guys were able to walk me through the whole process and keep me informed at every step. The finished product turned out incredible. We recently had Hardie Plank siding installed at our house. We also had a shed in the back yard with rotting doors and distressed siding close to the ground. Chris Cogburn was the sales representative. We love the new look of our house but we expected that it would look good. The thing I am most pleased about is our shed. I pretty much left it up to Chris to do something with the shed. I just wanted it to look better. Now, every time I look out the kitchen window and see the shed, I get a smile on my face. Working with William Rob at RoofCrafters provided me the detailed knowledge and level of customer service I required to replace the damaged roof and chimney on my house immediately. He was able to work my project into the schedule and provided me oversight of the project while I was out of town. Everything from cradle to grave was seamless and I am very happy with their workmanship. On an alternate project they installed a much needed rear deck and demolished the worn out awning which was an obvious safety hazard. Work is provided with a warranty and their level or professionalism is unbeatable

I just had Roofcrafters replace a metal roof with a new one. The old one, which they did not install, was put together with spit and glue compared with the new one. While I hate to tempt fate, I can't imagine this roof ever leaking after the very solid installation that included decking, ice and water shield, and a hand-crafted roof. This was a very polite and hard-working crew that showed up on the day they said they would and worked a couple of long days to get the job done. I needed my siding replaced and someone in my neighborhood recommended Roof Crafters. I called and got an immediate response. Chris Cogburn was at my house in next to no time. He talked to me about what I wanted, told me what he recommended and he took measurements. Sustainable high winds and roofing shingles often times don't get along. I experienced this event this week where the winds have been a fairly consistent 40 mph for the past few days. My shingles ripped off like dominoes falling. I called Roof Crafters and spoke to several of their staff/sales team members. Without fail, every single one of them were on top their game and over the top awesome. Called them and scheduled a meeting to review my roof. I have a flat roof of some sort of foam material that was at end of life. The estimator was great and assured me that he would contact me. I called them 10 days straight trying to figure out whether or not they would provide a quote, and each day I was told that they would. On the 10th day, I called asking if my quote was ready. The gentleman said he would check and he called me back say "sorry somebody else should do your job.". We really could have gotten to that understanding much sooner. At any rate---they need some help

We have worked with Roofcrafters since 2008. They were recommended by our State Farm agent. They replaced a roof on our personal home and 2 of our investment properties.
In 2013, Roofcrafters added a 3rd car garage and did an excellent job for us.

After a major hail storm last April, we had RoofCrafters do everything; roof, gutters, windows, paint, driveway, patio, garage doors, a very large job. Due to hot weather we opted to defer roof work until cooler weather, but wanted other work done as soon as possible. Come August, I had to fight for every step of progress. Work slowly began in September. In October I escalated to one of the owners hoping for progress. On my bird-dogging the work was finally complete in mid-December, months after all surrounding homes were repaired. RC is a family business, so accountability is not there

Just had a GAF Designer Roof installed Roof optically looks like a clay tile roof, very cool. Not an inexpensive project, but this looks awesome. Roofcrafters did a great job. Had insurance adjuster for hail damage. Mike met him and walked the roof with him. Big project, had to wait about a month for schedule and product, worth the wait. They picked up debris and the lunch and water bottles around the house. They submitted everything to insurance company. Neighbor using them now. Great job. Highly recommend.

Called for estimate on roof, scheduled for 05/03/14 @ 3:00 then called saying they be @ 6:30 then called again saying they be late for the 6:30 appt. So we reschedule for Mon @ 3:00 pm, called @2:50 to say that he was running late and that it be close to 5:00 told him to never mind, he can't keep his Appt's.

We just had our house in NW Austin re-painted by Roof Crafters, out of Leander (512-331-5500). Actually, it was our main house + a small office building in back + a metal tool shed -- to make everything match. We called them because they did some extensive work for us in 2009 -- new shingles, plus a new roof over a porch which involved lots of carpentry work + interior painting. They did an excellent job for what we considered to be a reasonable price back then, so we called them again when the peeling paint & irritating color finally got to us.

Wow! If you can have an "enjoyable" experience dealing with a leaky roof I/we just had it! My husband and I always do a tremendous amount of research before we hire someone / a company. From beginning to end (on every detail) I could not be more impressed with Roof Crafters (and I'm/we're PICK-Y!). The owner and office manager/staff are all very nice and get back to you quickly. Our brand new garage wasn't built yet, but we knew we would need a roofer. We had already estimated how much it would cost, but I contacted five different companies to get exact bids. Only two companies even bothered to get back with me! Roofcrafters provided the lowest quote of the two, and Jay at Roofcrafters sent their proof of insurance at the same time, which saved me from that followup question.
