Our refrigerator stopped cooling, we went through LG's website to send out a recommended repair company. LR Appliance came, clearly not going by their former name of Low Rate Appliance because of the poor reviews. The whole experience was bad, the tech pulled the fridge out, looked at it for a couple minutes and said the compressor was bad. Fine, the LG compressors are a known issue and there is a class action lawsuit as a result. He quoted $1500 to repair it and said he had the part in the truck. Worst appliance repair company. If you want to be yelled at by the manager then this is your place. Our compressor on our fridge went out and was covered under warranty. This was repaired with a $900 labor charge then other things started going out after they fixed the compressor and were not fixed by them. Fishy

I called because I thought I had a broken refrigerator drawer mechanism. My fridge is older, but a very good (48" built-in GE Monogram) one, so I called about getting a new complete drawer with gliders. They told me that a house call was $120 (?) and I agreed to that. I was under the impression that they were the GE service people for this area. The serviceman came and put my drawer back on the track ( it wasn't broken). Then he told me that I should have him clean the coils, because it was something I couldn't do properly myself. That was $350 (minus the $120 house call). I agreed

This place is a ripoff he came and fixed my dryer 6 months ago and charged me $280 for a cheap part replacement then 6 months later the dryer had the same problem no heat and he came out again said it's a different part which only cost 80 and he showed me and was charged $220 and wasn't here an hour and they told me the labor was by the hour when I first called and it said I would get 15% off next visits labor and I never got that and when I called she denied she said by the hour and he took a phone break outside this place is a ripoff DONT USE THEM !

I should have read all of the complaints lodged against this business before asking them to service my dishwasher diagnosis. I should have seen the common factor...that the "office manager" is extremely rude to everyone. Terrible customer service and shady business practices. Beware and STAY AWAY!!!!

The door on my Sub-Zero refrigerator had a broken part but was operational. LRA cover a large Area so their Techs service different areas on different days so you may not be able to get same day service. When the Tech did arrive he had the part and resolved the issue quickly. I was happy with the service given. They have a 90 day warranty on their work and wouldn't you know it I had another problem, all be it different, on the same door loosing vacuum but past the 90 days. The day before Thanks giving, and the refrigerator is not getting cold, but freezer is.
Panic sets in!!!!
I called Low Rates Appliance, and they had Leo at my house within 2 hours.
They quoted me an estimate over the phone of the def user fan replacement for $300.00.
Leo found the seal folded back on the refrigerator side, and told me he had a special machine to extract the ice in the clogged vent, and he could repair the seal.
It was only $200.00 for the repair with a 90 day warranty!
Leo was very friendly, and told my wife and I if we had any problems, to call him, and he would be back ASAP
