Our packing and unpacking rates are structured on the same rates as above. If you feel that more than one truck is required for your move, we suggest that you take advantage of our FREE written estimate. This way, we can determine exactly how many movers and trucks would be appropriate for your move.
Moving can be one of the most stressful times in our lives. Careful preparation can help make your move more efficient, cost effective, safe and even pleasant. Please print and refer to this list as a guide to an organized moving experience. Book with a moving company. Most companies will require a deposit to reserve space for your move on the desired day.
Computer, stereo or TV equipment is best moved in the original box. If these are not available, a linen or dish pack will usually work, provided plenty of bubble wrap or rolled up packing paper is used to protect your delicate equipment. These boxes should always be marked fragile. If you don't have a box big enough for the tv, we can wrap it in our furniture pads on the day of the move.

Solid job, they were quick, efficient, and handled everything. Everything got to my new place safe and sound.
My couch didn't fit up the stairs. They did try, but it wasn't happening. There's a pretty big fee (150 if I recall correctly) to have them dispose of it for you, so just make sure you can get everything thru the doors/stairs! Otherwise you'll be paying or leaving the furniture on the street.

Moved 10/2/21 from a storage unit to a third floor walk-up.
Very smooth process, and very happy with the result. They were professional, friendly, and efficient. The whole process only took a couple hours, and cost less than I was expecting.
Only complaint is that the previous job went long, so they didn't get started with me until near the end of the window. Not a big deal though. Very well done, would highly recommend and use again.

Fantastic moving experience. The team arrived on time, was SUPER efficient in transporting our stuff, and navigated a very tricky third-floor walk-up situation. Not all of our furniture fit up the stairs, but they gave us great instructions on how to disassemble it for bringing into the apartment. We're still talking about how good they were weeks later.

I had high hopes for this being a smooth move since the quoting and booking process was well organized. Unfortunately, I had a busy month at work and then a debilitating migraine on the days immediately preceding my move and was behind in packing. When I realized I couldn't quite finish in time and I literally had no strength left, I called Precision's office and asked if the movers had sufficient time to help me finish packing (i.e. just throw the clothes and purses in my closet into bags). The office said yes, this was their only move for the day so just show them what needed to be

We have worked with Precision Moving to do two moves, one within the same house and another from one house to another.  The first move was absolutely exceptional.  The team moved our things with rapid fire and exceptional service and helpfulness.  The second move was more challenging and the team stood up to the challenge-moving from the second and third floors of one house to the second and third floors of another house in hot weather. When we encountered a challenge with one of our pieces, the company had outstanding customer service and resolved the issue.  I would highly recommend working

I recently used Precision Moving Company for a move from Belmont to Malden and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. They were prompt in returning an estimate to me (which was extremely reasonable) and it was very easy to arrange all the logistics. The movers (thank you, PJ and Roy!) were very friendly, professional, pleasant to talk to, and efficient at their jobs. I would definitely use this company again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Three guys three hours and like magic it was done. Great price and no hidden fees. Super professional, safe, and courteous. I "lost" a box and called frantically (and erroneously thinking it wasn't my fault which it was!) and the gentleman in the office was more than patient with me. Yes, I felt like a fool and called to apologize and again, he was so nice. Top shelf company!

The guys worked hard and abided by wearing a mask. None of my items were damaged. Move was scheduled to start at 11. They had to use the bathroom upon arrival and didn't get up to my place until 11:15. Not a problem, but the clock started at 10 (I'm in Brookline). On the flip side, the move concluded at 5:03 and they finished charging at 5:30. Would suggest that folks understand how the timing works as I was not expecting a 1hr 45 min of time charges outside of the move (I expected some given there is travel time). I was too tired to argue with them and just paid it.

5 stars for top-caliber customer service. I initially left a 1-star review as I was upset about some items being damaged due to how they were packed. I was then contacted by Mike (one of the owners) who sincerely apologized, wrote off the job, and compensated me for a decent fraction of the value of the items damaged. (I then took down my original review in the interim when I was waiting for my payment method to be properly credited.)
I truly appreciated Mike's candor and proactiveness both in owning up for the mishap and for doing everything in his power to make things right. Thanks, Mike

I moved from Somerville to Somerville in the middle of Covid when everything was completely shut down. I live alone, and it didn't feel safe to ask a bunch of friends to come help me move, so I hired Precision Moving -- my first time working with movers.
The quote they gave me was BEYOND reasonable, and much cheaper than competing quotes. (Admittedly, it helps that they're local because the cost to/from their site is not far, but that's part of why I chose them.) I had a bunch of dumb questions via email/phone which the owners answered quickly and kindly.
