Bought a Mazda from Amiri and it's been Fantastic! I called asking if I could test drive the car before I bought it, I told him I'd be there in an hour. I pulled up to the lot and the car was idling warming up for me to take it to my mechanic. I took the car, he gave me $20 for gas. Went to look at a used car I was interested in. Noted the details and mileage. The car was a salvage title. There was damage from a previous accident. The owner told me he buys these cars at auction in the Chicago area. The owner seemed okay at first. Came back to buy the car a few weeks later after the dealers private mechanic had done the repairs. Guess what? The odometer was set back well over 100k miles. The fact that I just purchased my 3rd vehicle from Amiri pretty much says it all (Nissan Maxima, Acura TL, and Honda Pilot). Amiri is a great person to work with, and is definitely a man of his word. Anything Amiri has told me he would do, he has. I would not hesitate to purchase a 4th vehicle from him in the future (and probably will at some point).

Knock on office door. Brusque voice growls "come in". Man behind desk engaged in conversation with third person for perhaps thirty seconds. Desk man asks me to come back in 5 minutes. Spend next 15 minutes looking at a few vehicles in which I held interest. Return to office, greeted with indifferent and impolite "I'm only one man". Wordlessly, turn to depart for another dealer.

Mr Amiri was very honest and helpful and sold the car on a handshake. I was delay pulling together the money and he held it on the handshake. The car looked great and one run through a full service car wash looked new. I came back for my plates and he installed them and took care of a loose guard under the car even though it was as is. I'm very happy. Remember these are used cars and some may be repaired from salvage so you need to be realistic. My car was $9000- $12000 everywhere else and $6500 with Mr Amiri. His prices are excellent and he is a fair and honest man.

The owner of Amiri is a really nice man, he tries to save people money with reasonable offers and prices. He was welling to listen what I needed in a car and how much money I was welling to spend. Unfortunity I did not buy from him because another seller has offered me a really good deal on Lexus. But In the future i will be coming back to trade in my car. Thanks Amiri for an out standing service. I was also really late on posting this review.

Thought I would check them out and save some money on a used car. I asked to sit in a car before I test drove it to see if it was comfortable first. As I was looking around the inside I opened the armrest and inside was a used bullet casing for a .38 special. I asked why something like that would be in there and the guy just threw the bullet on the ground and didn't say anything.
The panel that they replaced on this salvage vehicle did not fit right at all and he said his aftermarket parts will never fit quite right. At least he was honest about his shoddy work.

I went in to purchase a 2001 Lexus Es 300. I was greeted by his mechanic who seemed to be a friendly guy, opposite from the owner Amiri. Whoever rated him as honest must be on something or Amiri himself composed the rating. Amiri and honest just don't go together. I test drove the car, and he made me fill up gas for him which was no big deal. We went to talk negotiation and he seemed open to negotiation (the car had been sitting on the lot for over 3 MONTHS). We agreed to a price and shook on it, and I left thinking that I had just bought

Updating my review...sorry, Amiri. I know my car was sold 'as is' but you never did get me that front badge, the brakes were installed BACKWARDS (which I had fixed immediately) and it was advertised as having a/c, which I recently (and unfortunately) discovered was false advertisement. I will be contacting you soon to see if you can fix this stuff...but buyer beware.

I bought my 2009 Pontiac Vibe from Amiri in March of 2013. The professionalism, friendliness, and integrity of Amiri and his staff were far above the norm. Amiri showed me the report on the car with a picture of what it looked like when he bought it to show me what kind of previous damage has been done to the car before his shop fixed it. It's been over a year since having my car and it's performed like a new car, but for half the price!
