We ran into a snag regarding an item I'd purchased where there was an issue with an item I'd paid for. I was not happy with the initial way in which the transaction was handled. However, Modern Resale's associate worked through the issue with me to meet my expectations.
After purchasing multiple items from this business (couch & wool rug for living area), then experiencing a service after the sale that went very well overall, I would recommend this business and use them again in the future.

I have bought a number of pieces from Modern Resale over time. The owners are incredibly helpful and responsive. The furniture is in fantastic shape…or brand new. I just purchased a gorgeous wool rug that went on sale. I will continue to check out their site and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Every item at Modern Resale is STUNNING and in basically perfect condition. MY DREAM ITALIAN PIECES from classic to the unique. So much creamy leather. I wish I lived in a huge palazzo so I could buy all the Minotti and the B & B! Also, the staff is very kind and knowledgeable. A wonderful experience. 10/10 would shop here again (already stalking three more items)!

I have attached two recent pieces, sofa and console that are perfect condition and would probably have more imperfections due to shipping if purchased new. I had been coveting an Antonio Citterio Diesis coffee table for a while so when I saw it listed at Modern Resale I jumped on it. Even though I do not live in L.A. the transaction couldn't have been better. I was in the process of moving and they were so kind to hold the table for me until I arrived at my new home. The packing was very secure and you could see the care that went into protecting it. And the movers were terrific, too. I'm so happy with my purchase. Thank you everyone!

This is my favorite place to buy furniture. Everything in there is amazing - perfectly chosen. I have many pieces from them - most from high-end furniture stores I couldn't buy from otherwise (like B&B Italia). The two owners are very knowledgable about furniture and design, and they make the whole process easy, including delivery of the furniture. They offer helpful ideas and opinions when asked, but they never make me feel pressured. LOVE this place!!
