Shane and the Austin Southwest Roofing team is top notch and I would highly recommend. The crew was was a fine tuned machine and in and out with no sign they were ever there except for a new roof. The neighbors however had a very different experience with a different roofing company that took 4 times as long, poor cleanup and back on the roof during the next storm taking care of what was not done correctly to begin with. Don't go with the storm chasing roof companies.

We had originally been referred by our insurance (Liberty Mutual) to Austin Southwest Roofing as their preferred vendor, and we can totally see why! The team was super responsive to our claim and was able to professionally replace our roof MONTHS in advance of others in our neighborhood that had started the process at the same time as us. The inspection process was easy and informative. JT walked me through what he had found and followed up on details such as if we wanted to reinstall the sat. dish (we didn't, so less holes in the new roof).

This was the second time I hired this company to replace a damaged roof. The crew was able to replace the entire roof in one day. That included ripping the old roof off, replacing the flashing and underlayment and shingles. When they were done, they cleaned up everything so well one would never know they were there. They actually left my property looking better than when they arrived. Should I need to have my roof repaired again or should someone ask for recommendations for roofing company, I will definitely go with Austin Southwest Roofing again.

After two experiences with bad roofers I found Austin Southwest Roofing. They have been reliable and trustworthy for the repairs I have needed over the last several years. When I was ready for a roof replacement I called them. Their proposal was very detailed with pictures and that helped. At the end of the project the owner even took new pictures to show me they met all of the details included in the original proposal. I highly recommend them.

The folks at Southwest roofing were always available to answer any questions I had. They used high quality materials. The work crew was friendly and did an excellent job of cleaning up when the job was finished. My roof was not just replaced but is much better than before. With Shane’s expert advice we added solar vents. In this Texas heat I’m sure they will help. My new roof is the icing on the cake. Thank you all at Southwest Roofing.

Phone lady didn't know what the business process is wrt working with insurance company on roof replacement due to hail damage. Roofing company normally is willing to communicate/work with insurance company on behalf of the owner for coverage but not with Austin Southwest based on what I was told. Hail damage marks were obvious on the roof according to other roofing company's report but were not seen in Southwest report.

What I've learned about picking a roofing contractor:
- Any roofer looks good when things go smoothly. Bad roofers get exposed when things go sideways.
- NEVER sign a contract. Reputable companies don't have to use this high pressure sales tactics.
- Make sure they will work with your insurance company for add-ons or 'supplements' to your estimate.
- Make sure they will do any 'non-roof' related work on your estimate and guarantee it.
Summary: Austin Southwest Roofing did a great job, worked with my insurance company on my behalf to get things added to my estimate

Austin Southwest Roofing just came out and fixed a small roof warranty item for us. They sent a guy out the very next day after I called in, and he was very knowledgeable and polite. He did a great job quickly fixing the problem, and it was nice to see a company honor their warranty without complaint.

We have lived in our house for 30 yrs, replaced our roof 3 times & had repairs done multiple times, and we have been ripped off by a "storm chaser". Austin Southwest Roofing is the BEST roofing contractor and the only company we will use from now on. Professionals that know their trade! We have had a leaky roof since we bought this house. We've always been told that it is because of the "roof pitch". Well Shane and his crew put a stop to those leaks and I know if anything ever comes up, they are the ones to fix it. You don't see this type of customer service in roofing business these days. I am lucky to have found them for my roof. i would refer them to everyone from family to friends.

Ok, I am blown away by the customer service of this company. 10 years ago, within months of buying our house, a rogue storm trounced the neighborhood roofs including mine. My insurance company (Travelers) recommended this and a couple more companies. I picked this one, based on how nice the man was who called back. Found out he was Shane Barnett, the owner's son. They were out right away and within 10 days from calling, we had a total new roof with vent upgrades.

I called Austin Southwest Roofing to repair/replace shingles that had blown off during a high-wind storm.
It took a few days but I got a call back.
Over the next couple of weeks they were able to come out, look at the roof, and provide a proposal/estimate (via email).
The estimate was very reasonable, so I signed and sent it back.
After another week or so, I got a call in the morning (9 AM) that the person doing the repair would be coming that day.
At 10:30 the repairman was at the house.
