Last night I realized the A/C unit was not producing cool air anymore. I called Paradise first thing this morning and they dispatched someone out right away. The technician was very polite, helpful and patient trying to diagnose the issue. My only disappointment is with the a/c unit itself which now needs a replacement part just nine months after being installed but this could happen with any units I guess! Paradise so far as proven to be a great company to work with.

My AC unit had not been serviced since we had purchased our home. After a week of noticing the AC was not getting to scheduled temperature in the evening/into the night (and I had to turn it lower/cooler earlier in order to get to desired temp at night) I searched google and came across Paradise Air. I am so glad that Paradise Air was recommended. I live in California so I only had a few days to solve a myriad of problems with this rental (one of them caused by the last AC company used by my property manager.) John came out to give me a bid for a new AC unit and all new duct work. His bid was reasonable and the work was explained in a way I was able to understand. Two days later the entire job was done and I'm just real pleased with the professionalism and efficiency of Paradise Air.

Let me start by saying, I did not go with Paradise Air for one simple reason, they do not offer 0% financing, like Trane does for its unit. So I went with another company that offers Trane units. I have to say Paradise Air was very nice and trustworthy. They seem like an honest bunch of people and they came out right away to provide a quote and look over my old unit. American Standard is made right along with Trane in the same factory in Texas, but they are two separate companies. Paradise offered a fair quote, but most people do not have several thousands dollars to sink into a new unit. Maybe

Everything was excellent from start to finish. My AC just died late in the afternoon. Fortunately it was April and not June here in FL. The air handler was running, but the compressor fan was not. I asked my neighbor (a home inspector) for a recommendation and he gave me Tim O'Connell's name from Paradise Air Inc. and I'm glad he did! So we got a few quotes for a new ac. Ours was working but old, it is winter so we thought it would be a good time for it. We went with Paradise as they gave us a great quote for a great unit. We ended up with a 3 ton, two stage, 17 seer American Standard. Everything went fantastic. They came when they said, it rained and took them a long time for install. My older central a/c stopped working. After reviewing Yelp and BBB for local a/c shops, I called Paradise in the early pm. The office staff told me to check certain things beforehand, in the event it was a simple problem, but I wanted a tech to check the system out anyway. Less than an hour later, a friendly tech arrived, diagnosed the problem, and got it working again for a price I considered reasonable for time, effort, knowledge, and attitude. This company is total rip off!! I had seen them in complex as company others used. Called them for a service for just low performance of air conditioner during high heat and humidity time. Paid for the service call that recommended new unit or fix to old for $904 which they said they didn't really recommend. Did not sound right. I found new company on Yelp and they recharged quickly and I was cold immediately. People beware. Air conditioners have warranty of 10 years usually but can often last much longer. These kind of companies want to fill our landfills with old units and prey on elderly

I called these guys in the afternoon around 2pm. I was able to get them to come that night. It was around 8pm when he came so I knew he must have to extended himself just to accommodate my short schedule.

He was very friendly and professional. He wore booties and laid down a blanket to prevent dirtying my floor. He answered all my questions in a very carefully and patiently. He was overall very nice and professional.

He was able to fix my issue within a hour or so.

I called this company after getting a referral from a friend. My air had went out the night before and i was miserable, so i was praying for a same day service call but not expecting it. when i called tim answered and was very nice, took my name and address and nature of the problem and even though i had to do dialysis most of the day he came out the same day after 4:30pm! he was very nice and professional. checked the unit, found the problem, showed me the burnt up part and wiring and even told me the cost before the fix. my unit also needed freon. now i am chillin!!!! thanks mr.tim. its nice
