This company went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. There was a misunderstanding with the Groupon and they made sure to get it cleared up immediately. I was told there was a lizard that fried some kind of board, and the technician showed me the fried lizard.

Had this company call my husband offering him an introductory offer to use them for the routine maintenance on our AC. We just bought a new home and are actually having issues with the AC unit so we took them up on the offer to come check it out. They scheduled us for 3pm and never showed up. At 3:30 they sent a text message saying they waited 30 minutes and no one was home so they left. First of all, I was home the entire time in my office with the windows open and a clear few of the front of the home, on top of that our security cameras show as well that nobody ever showed up to our home. Great AC business! They were the third quote that I got. Very honest and fair! Another AC company told me I needed a new AC and my AC is only 7 years old! Bayside fixed it with no problem. So happy with their service! Our AC went out and I was worried because I run an animal rescue from my home and I didn't want the animals to overheat. We were really pleased with Bayside. When our air went out, we called several different a/c companies, and Bayside was the company that could come out the fastest. They were affordable and very professional. When it came time to replace our second a/c unit, we didn't hesitate to call Bayside. We have been very satisfied with both a/c units and the follow up we received from Bayside.

Bayside Air tried to SCAM us, after 5 min. they told us, I needed a new AC (they just had a cancellation)....& tried to sell me new ac on the spot..I had somebody else come out, it was a simple fix. The capacitor ($25.00 part cost) which fixed it, they said pay them a week later!,..in case it didn't work.. I spoke to Tom at Bayside AC, said it was MISTAKE! This was no mistake any AC mech would know if it was a capacitor......DO NOT USE THEM,!

Very happy with Bayside! I needed to have my air ducts cleaned and my next door neighbor recommended Bayside. Their service was great! Very professional from my first call to the end and their price was very reasonable. Looks like our neighborhood is turning into a Bayside neighborhood as I will definitely recommend them to other neighbors.

Don't go with them. Previous owner of my home had them install a 2-ton Nordine Heat Pump in 2013. In 2020 the evaporator coil froze up due to a coolant leak. Called them since they installed it and the technician quoted me $2670 to replace the coil plus $32 a pound for freon. I asked about the 10 year parts warranty the previous owner had left with me and was told the warranty is only good for the purchaser. The technician then tried to sell me a new AC system. I told him I would call around to get other quotes before making such a larger purchase. I called two other AC companies and was quoted

We didn't really have an issue, we were just scheduled for a regular maintenance for air conditioner. Bayside came out and went through the process of checking all the components on our air conditioner. I was really appreciative of the way Chris took the time and energy to explain to us why and how the components worked even showing us the meter readings on our components vs a new one. It was not difficult to see how important it was to get them replaced. I felt like he took the time to answer all of our questions, he treated us like we were important customers, I highly recommend them.

Within 5 minutes of being on site, the tech was trying to convince us that we need a whole new system like a used car salesman. The tech did service our condensing unit and when I checked it out after the tech left I found that the "run capacitor" or "hard start kit", whatever that piece of equipment circled in the picture is was resting on wires and appeared to be set that way to cause our system to fail.
We ended up going with;
MC Mechanical,
who gave us a higher quality unit for a better price.

I was contacted by the manager, Tom, shortly after my previous post. He didn't argue with me that there was an issue, he apologized and made no excuses for the situation. I'm updating the review to three stars for that. I'm happy with the quick resolve attempt and I'd like to update this review even further once things are finalized.
Tom told me he would fix the immediate situations from the photos. So far two technicians came out and fully sealed the plenum. I can't find any leaking air at this point, though the house isn't cooling like it should yet (Johnny is still

We're enjoying our second a/c heat pump package from this company. We purchased a Goodman package 10 years ago and it tried to die throughout that time, but Bayside stood behind it and made it right. This new second package is Ameristar and Jacob did a good job getting this sold and set up. We were pleased with the three installers from Earth Core that put this package up and running. Any problem that came up in the past was quickly resolved and we're hopeful that this new package will last us for years to come.

They came, filled up with Freon checked for leaks and replaced the start up capacitor which I think was fine. I knew that something fishy here when they tried to charge 199 dollars for the 20 dollars capacitor. Finally, the final bill came out to $744.00 The gas escaped with 24 hours. They came again and said I have a leaking evaporating coil giving me a quote of 4200 dollars for replacing it Got a second opinion and had the a.c repaired for a leak in the copper tubing next to the muffler for 300 dollars.

We had Bayside call us many times offering a great deal on servicing our a/c unit. We were renovating and said we would have to wait until we were done. In April 2018 a salesman? more than a technician came out. He opened the unit and without doing more than a listen to it not starting, said " its old, it's done and can't be fixed" followed by "6,500.+ to replace". We couldn't afford that and were heading north so would see the following season. We worried all summer about the cost of a new unit! When we came back a friend gave us the name of someone that was

The hose was off my air conditioning unit and I called Bayside and a tech came out and said I needed a condenser pump. He said he would be back in a couple of days and he charged me $89.00 for looking at the unit. So 4 days passed and I called and they set an appointment. The tech came out put a drain hose on the unit with some tape and charged me $110.00 which was the Quote for a pump. The tech was here all of 10 min. These people are robbers. Would never recommend them for anything. Save your money and call another company.

UPDATE: Worst experience ever with Bayside Heating and Air
I recently spoke with the owner of the company who called to address my recent experience with his company. The previous person I spoke with was the manager not the owner as I believed. The owner spoke with me at length to apologize and stated that the matter had been handled incorrectly and that I would be refunded the service charge as I had been given incorrect information initially. I appreciate that the owner took the time to personally address the issue and pledged to review/change policies and training to prevent similar issues
