The motor in my heatpump stopped working on wednesday morning before Thanksgiving. They sent technician, he diagnosed problem being a failed condenser fan motor. Cox sent him to Carrier warehouse in Clearwater right away and he returned same day to repair. Service does not get any better than that. All of Cox service department are great!!!

So impressed! An A/C tech from another company preformed a service check this morning. He found nasty mold.Luckily a friend stopped by. The tech proposed purchasing an ultraviolet light to get rid of unhealthy mold.
Our friend suggested a second opinion from Cox Air. Boy oh boy, did they deliver.Within the hour their tech arrived and assured us there was no mold.
Provided a full inspection. Great business!

Some years back our A/C system was running long - about 45 minutes. We were sure that was wrong and were guessing that we needed to replace the system. The Cox tech came out and thoroughly checked the system. He told us that he thought a new thermostat would solve the problem. We were able to get two more years service from this elderly system and are so grateful to Cox that their service techs are not on commission as I understand many other companies are. I'm on the board of our condo and have recommended Cox to others many times.

Doesn't sell to public anymore. Needed a start capacitor and had to go to the interwebs to get one instead of local.
Edit: You replied saying you've never sold to the public however in 04-05 I was able to purchase a matching start motor capacitor for an older unit at your location. Maybe you made an exception at the time but I am not making an unfounded claim.
I'm sure you have a good reason for your policy. Thanks anyway.

In 2016 I had Cox install my new AC. They did a fair job for the price, about average with their competition. Low and behold right after the warranty ran out I needed service. I called them starting at around 5:30pm on Monday 4/26/2021 and got put on eternal hold from their recorded phone service. Again and again I would call and I would hold for at least 10 minutes, still no answer. I tried several times and the same result! If they don't need the business it must be nice because I surely needed my AC working. The joke is on them though because I figured it out and it turned out my drain line

Thank you Joe for going the extra mile!!! Our Commercial AC went out on a Friday afternoon - we are open 7 days a week... Joe realized we needed a part and at 3:45 most places were already closed for the weekend. He made 2 stops found the part and we had cool AC by 5:00pm. We are very happy with the many years of service Cox has provided for us!

Cox air conditioning is a trustworthy, honest company that provides excellent service. My air handler went out at the peak of our warm season; Mike, Jo and Vinny took great care of us. They arranged to replace the air handler within 1 week and in the interim provided us a temporary cooling system which kept us comfortable. Their work was precise,… tidy and efficient completing the job in less than 2 days. Furthermore, their pricing was fair and competitive. I highly recommend Cox air conditioning to anyone in need of service. Rita and Jim, Dunedin.

Bad service and bad quality of equipment installed. Cox has a long history in the community but, they do not have friendly customer service. Equipment was installed in less than 2 hours. Had numerous service calls and had to have special order placed for malfunctioning equipment, when it was less than 90 days old. I believe they do not install quality equipment and they overcharge for substandard equipment. Buyer Beware! Don't use Cox AC! Or you will be dissatisfied. There are many other reputable choices and quality installers.

As reflected in my rating I can't say enough good things about Cox Air Conditioning &Heating. I've been with the company for 20+ years. They have always been honest and fair in their dealing with me. I bought my unit from them and they have been servicing it since. From the ladies in the office to the service men who work for them and with them, all are courteous and knowledgeable. They're about fair prices and good service. I highly recommend them.

You act like it wasnt your companies fault no matter what the situation is!! So I read the owners comment, he wrote me today at 804 am and then at 852 am and I work....he never gave me the time to even get back to him before he wrote a response today and accusing my review to be unverifiable. Then the email asked me to consider removing the review after this -nope! trust me we have a full inspection report to back up what I say about the rat waste on our AC units, it being left open, and also record of The AC companies 'service ' a few weeks ago.
I would question any company that said I never responded with the service address when they ask for it at 852 am

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Cox. Kerri who came to give us an estimate patiently explained the different systems and gave us the best deal for two high end Carrier units along with Reme halos. The entire installation crew was wonderful and special mention to Patrick, the service manager and Eddie who was one of the technicians. In addition to the office staff, Ruth and Connie are so courteous, prompt and efficient. I am so glad to go with Cox and hope they keep up with their excellent services.

Wow... Just wow. The service that you provided was amazing. Hands down one of the best service in any small or large businesses that I have encountered. Even though it's just an A/C Company, they treat their customers like family. Responses to any customer questions are answered almost immediately and if they can't answer the question they will do research and reply within a timely manner with an accurate decision. Their installation is as good as if they were installing in their own home. I had to get a full A/C replacement in my home and the process went as smooth as butter. Upper management

The repairman arrived around 12:15 PM and sat in his work van in my driveway because it was raining. About 15 minutes later, he got out of the van, approached my front door, which was open and said "Quack, quack." He did not introduce himself, but told me that he had to wait until the rain stopped a bit before he could come to the door.
I told him to come in and led him to the thermostat on the wall in the hallway. He did not ask me what the problem was. He took down my air filter (which was dirty) and asked when the last time it was changed. I said that we have not turned on our air
