AC Guy of Tampa was recommended by a friend after a couple of bad experiences with other companies. Our first experience was on a July 4th holiday. I called them and a hour and a half later, there was someone here. The problem was fixed and I didn’t have to mortgage the house to pay for it. 😏
Their customer service is like the days of old. They have a great system for scheduling, which includes texts for reminding the customer about appointments that includes a picture of the service man coming to your house.
I am so glad I got this referral and I myself recommend this company to everyone

Steve was excellent! He found things such as the fact that there was no surge protector, that was not included when we purchased, at an exorbitant cost, our high efficiency heat pump. He also found that the 3 new vents that they convinced us needed to be installed, did not include the necessary replacement filters. My feedback has changed as a result of my recent experience. I initially gave them a 5-star rating. Our impression has changed.

I do not think words can express how far above expectations this company performs. ASK FOR DANIEL! Same day service and since covid pretty much affects everything now (including A/C parts availability), he drove back to their warehouse late on a Friday night to get a portable window A/C unit to hold us over until they could replace our unit. But then there's more! We were fine with the portable unit until they could fit us into our schedule to install a new unit. DANIEL kept trying to find a replacement blower unit (over the weekend mind you) and he did! I even told him to not worry about it because

Very professional start to finish. Helpful website; good phone messaging, prompt response. Very knowledgeable "field manager. Did thorough inspection, asked right questions. I wasn't planning on committing that day or ever but I realized the value in replacing my 35 year old rigid ducts. Install went great _ terrific team. First inspection revealed that 2 vents needed to be switched which was done on the spot. Final, official inspection date had to be rescheduled due to my work. They took care of it same day as request. Couldn't be happier!!!

I called The A/C Guy @ 0805 this Monday morning, 23 Aug, 2021. I called because my A/C stopped blowing cold air overnight. So, calling on a Monday morning I expected the worst, as far as waiting time to getting service. I talked to Jordan the phone scheduler/dispatcher, she was extremely nice, competent, and professional, kudos Jordan! After describing my A/C issue to her she said she would call me back to schedule my service, she calls back in less than 5 min. to tell me that their Tech Daniel will be at my house between 1100-1300, that was music to our ears as the inside air temp in the house

This company is fantastic. Very knowledgeable about this service & do work with integrity. Friendly on the phone & very willing to answer any questions. My unit broke before an installation was available & Dan went above & beyond to get a motor for my very old unit to work in the mean time. Ben & Jay were great at installing my new unit & duck work. Answered all my questions & explained things to me. I really appreciated that. Again going above & beyond to take old duck work that was just hanging out in my attic, just because. The AC Guy scheduled the estimate and the installation of the AC. They were on time for all appointments and very professional while at our property. I appreciate that they had access to equipment within 2 days, while many other AC companies takes over a week for a new system. They delivered a quality product at the right price. So sorry we chose this company. Have had many issues since the December install. One of the technicians swore at my husband when he reported yet another issue. Owner called and apologized and offered a supplement for our troubles. Never saw it. Still having issues and no one has called back to schedule Had new installation in December 2019. Now August 2020. Had them out at least 8 times. They had to reconfigure our A/C system because it kept leaking. Granted they have come out every time we have asked. But nine months later and $16,000 later we still have an AC system that isn&apos

I heard from their customer service person who told me the obscene overcharge was the technician's mistake. It was an ENORMOUS mistake, so that guy must be pretty clueless. I was informed that the technician would be receiving training to reduce the likelihood of mistakes like that recurring. The owner reduced my charge to a rate of $300 / hour for the 20 minutes of work. It seems like they want to do the right thing and this was just a very stupid mistake but they still put me through a very unpleasant experience unnecessarily.

My mother purchased an ac unit and this place did a half @$$ job. Months later, there's a leak in the garage. She calls them and they say it's definitely not the ac. Plumber comes and it IS the ac. They did not install it correctly. She pays the plumber to fix it because she doesn't trust this place to do the right thing. Do not give these folks your money. Terrible workmanship.

Absolutely top notch service! We had a 16 seer Franklin/Goodman AC system installed several weeks ago. The owner Greg is a man of integrity, and the install crew were pleasant and efficient. This is a family business and everyone from the office girls to the crew are helpful, friendly and accommodating! Deserve more than 5 stars!
