Last year we decided to change the attic insulation which was the original R19 from 1979 when the house was built. I requested quotes from Yelp and Scott, the owner of Americool, was the only company who called me back. I received 3 or 4 other bids and Scott was by far the least expensive and extremely knowledgeable about the job requirements. We went with him and we're very pleased with the final product.
Then, this year we decided to replace the ducting, furnace and compressor to our HVAC system. Once again, the furnace & ducting were also original from '79 when the house was

Scott is really a great guy and knows his stuff when it comes to heating, A/C, and insulation. He services our 20+ year old compressor outside and this time we had him install some additional insulation in our attic to keep the upstairs a little cooler. Him and his guys are conscience and polite and were able to run the hose through an upstairs window without stepping on the tile roof to blow in the R30 insulation. I hope my unit lasts another 5 years or so and I'll know who to call when I need a new one.

Scott, the owner of the company, is very knowledgeable, honest, & does a clean job. He does a thorough inspection and take everything into consideration. Very punctual. Some of the work, he does not delegate to his team but does it him self to ensure quality. Unlike other companies, there is no up-selling and no jargon or sales pitch. The products used for insulation are top of the line. I would highly recommend working with the company for all insulation needs.

Couldn't be happier with the quality of work and service. Scott really is the man, he showed up on time, did what he said he was going to do, for the exact price he quoted me. I would recommend Scott and his crew to anyone in a heartbeat - they're the kind of guys you'd have over for a family BBQ. We had the walls of our entire second floor insulated by Americool. They were in and out, got the job done in less than one full day and didn't leave a trace of their work behind. Super knowledgeable on anything relating to AC/Insulation, easy to get a hold of, just wish more businesses

Scott is the man!!!
The one thing I value more than anything when it comes to any type of service for my home is trust!! Letting someone do work on your home can be very nerve racking, especially if you don't know anything about home repairs, electricity or HVAC. Scott is a very trustworthy person who is knowledgeable and genuine. He has a great work ethic. I'm surprised there aren't many more reviews on here.
