Shawn and his team completely refurbished our old pool and it looks amazing! They added a spa (which I didn't even know could be done), replaced the old equipment and the coping and resurfaced the pool with Pebble Tec and tiles. Shawn worked with us every step of the way, even meeting us at the showrooms a couple of times to explain our options. Shawn did a great job keeping us informed and working with our other contractors to coordinate efforts during the COVID-19 SIP.

Kirby's Pools have done an excellent resurfacing job to our pool at our Burlingame home. It was neglected by the prior owner and desperately needed upgrading. We met to discuss what needed to be done to bring the pool and equipment up to date. He provided a proposal detailing all that needed to be done outlining the cost. He and his staff arrived on time and completed the job under the projected date. I Highly recommend them for your pool needs

Ok my original post was taken off of this site because of a person saying Shawn Kirby was my brother, he is my brother and I do have a pool which he helps me with advice and work all the time, Shawn crew does an excellent job and is there for help when needed. Yes, again he is my brother but trust me if I didn't think his work was excellent I wouldn't post anything.

I would advise anyone considering working with Kirby pools to reconsider their decision. Shawn Kirby has failed to complete our project after nearly 2 years. There are numerous components of our pool's systems that were either installed improperly or not installed at all. Mr. Kirby is unwilling to even acknowledge any mistakes, let alone remedy them. He actively avoids making good on his commitments. His latest tactic to is avoid even picking up the phone. In short, he is not an honorable businessman in our experience. You have many options on the Peninsula. Avoid Kirby Pools at all costs

It was pleasantly working the pool company on this 150k+ pool and spa project at our newly purchased property at Hillsbrough. The team was very accommodating.
There were lots issues came up but they were happily solved by all the attention given the owner. A very genuine company to work with especially if you know what you want but at the same time have some room to work with.
Highly recommended at give them a call!!

Work starts out great and guys show up (for 6 months) then when it comes time to finish the pool, just plaster and electrical hookup needed, he puts other pools before our job and does not finish!!! waited with a hole in the ground and electrical not hooked up for 4 weeks!!! always an excuse - it was someone else's fault. could not get the plaster done. well if you look on his facebook page you will see pools finished after ours already plastered and getting water. excuses. excuses. excuses. told me we were the best, most understanding clients he had ever had - then walks out and does
