We loved working with Juan Jose and his team on our full-home remodel!
In the design phase, we worked closely with Juan Jose who is a very knowledgeable design/build expert. He had opinions (which we really wanted, since this was our first time doing a remodel), but also listened to our feedback and incorporated our ideas. He helped us figure out a really complicated kitchen/dining room layout and also somehow - magically? - gain half a bathroom, a linen closet, AND a master closet without seemingly losing any space. I still don't really know how he did it.

I am completely dissatisfied with Juan Jose Arteaga dba Planart. Juan Jose Arteaga and his team did not have a sufficient experience to deal with big remodels. He wrongly installed the electric wiring and the plumbing work needed to be adjusted or repaired. The new roof and decks he built are leaking and need to be repaired and/o completely replaced. . His work was a big fiasco. He behaved dishonestly and unethically. He is very good at planning and aesthetic work; however, as a professional contractor he is NOT.

Juan Arteaga and his team are true artists. They can build and install anything you can imagine for your home. Juan an architect in Ecuador, now brings his meticulous expertise to the bay area. I love what they have done to my home. Craftsmanship is such a rarity these days. Electrical to floors--knocking out walls--building stairs cases. I highly recommend his services.
