After reading the reviews I was very scared things would go badly. We didn't have a choice since this was the company that was selected by our home insurance . Thankfully, everything worked out perfectly. We paid the service fee, they came the days at the times they said and replaced our water heater. Everything was easy and painless. So happy. Maybe they have a new management system. I decided to write the review in case you are in the same spot as us and maybe I can ease your anxiety a little bit.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! After two visits and sitting at home for 3-4 hours each time our problem is still not resolved.. I can’t check a service they performed because the 2 times they came out nothing was repaired. The first visit the “plumber or tech” not sure of his qualifications..was 2 hours late. He told us we needed a new cartridge for our leaking shower faucet. He did clear some slow drains, that is about it. 2 weeks later I called to check on the part needed and was told the job had been marked completed. I used this company twice through my home warranty, Landmark. Neither time had anyone called to say they were on their way. They just showed up far outside the four hour window I was promised twice. The first time they couldn't fix it and said they would send out their "Senior Tech", the next day, then they said he was sick and rescheduled for 8 days later.
No phone call.
A guy came to diagnose the problem on a Friday and said they wold be back Monday to install the new toilet. Then they couldn't do it for 8 more days. This is the fourth scheduled appointment and I've now waited 8 1/2 hours just

They waste time and don't fix the problem in a timely manner. Had to set up 3 appointments for them to tell me what was wrong and one more appointment to actually fix the issue. After the 3rd appointment I decided to find a different plumber, it only took the new plumber 2 days to diagnose and fix the issue. Don't waste your time and money with this poor service plumbing company. If I can rate them a negative star I would.

This plumbing company was sent out on behalf of our warranty company (OneGuard-they're awful, see their reviews). M-R Plumbing came out after another company sent by the warranty company refused to install our dishwasher due to the hot water valve "being bad". When M-R came out the plumber said the valve WAS NOT BAD (he showed me the valve and how it was FULLY FUNCTIONAL -I still have it) and if he were installing my dishwasher he would not have changed the valve. BUT since he had a work order he would replace it.

Oh god, this place is SO awful. We were forced to use them because of our home warranty company (Sears) but I've been telling Sears any chance I get to never work with these plumbers again.

First, the plumber they sent misdiagnosed our problem 3 times over the span of 2 weeks, as the leak just got worse and worse and worse. He was, at best, incompetent and, at worst, a complete obstacle in the repairs.

At one point he said we needed a new water pressure regulator (which would not be covered by our warranty). I asked how much it would be, and M-R said it would be somewhere between $800

This company brought an additional person to my residence that was not in uniform.

They were sent from my warranty company and tried to get me to pay full price for the fix to expedite the process.

The man was rude entering my home when detailing what could possibly be the issue, they did not fix anything the day requested and never responded back to me.

If you want a reputable company or a company who wants to help. Don't go to these people. Also, if you warranty directs you to these people just cancel the claim.

Also, I have sent my experience and concerns to the BBB.

Dispatch is rude and cut me off. When the guy came in, he concluded my issue wasn't covered by home warranty and walked out. I haven't been able to use my house's water in 4 days and wanted a repair regardless. I explained that and Jose the plumber insisted that all customers feel this way. I also called in about my diverter in a hall bathroom which would have been covered by home warranty and no tapirs happened there. Home Warranty set up the service call. Guy didn't call in advance as requested, did not call when he got to the property, did not call when requested to by my staff. dumped sulferic acid down my tub and sink and left without telling anyone first or after. The unit was a airbnb unit and the person had to be rehoused - we lost $300 and had to take a cancellation. We will never do business with them again and you shouldn't either. Totally unprofessional.

I was directed to this company from my home warranty. The plumber showed up on time but he left quickly without doing any work (they provided an estimate a couple days later). The M-R plumber didn't seem to have as much experience as we were expecting so we contacted another plumbing company to provide an estimate. We had the other company do the work because they were more professional and we were much more confident in the plumber they sent.

I was directed to this company via my home warranty. I found the guys to be polite and efficient. Any delays I experienced were on the part of the home warranty company, not M-R. Perhaps they are under new ownership or things have just improved, but I saw no signs of the things previous reviewers have noted. I was very happy with the experience...and it's so nice to have a hot water again!

My hot water heater stopped working so I put in a claim with my home warranty company. M-R Plumbing is the company they contracted with to repair or replace my heater. I was told M-R would contact me usually within a couple of hours.
That was a Thursday morning. I still had not heard from M-R by late afternoon so I called them. I was told they could not come out to access the problem until the following Tuesday. I told them I was totally without hot water. They said that was the best they could do. I accepted that.

I am always very cautious about plumbers as there are many that will screw you over. We have had some plumbing issues in our shower and water softener. Through my home warranty, they send out Alberto from M-R. Alberto assessed the problems, was able to get the approvals for replacements/fixes, and made the corrections quickly. I like that he was professional and made sure that he cleaned up after without leaving messes from new products or drywall. I am very happy with the work that M-R did and hope they continue to stay in business with hiring good people like Alberto. Thank you.

The tech came out to my house and completed the service requested in an hour. He informed me of the issue that was causing the leak and searched everything so he didnt have to cut into my wall. I appreciated the timely arrival and quick quality work so that I can get back to my day off.

Do NOT use this company - dishonest - came out to assess my hot water heater - told me there was leakage; however, there was no leakage and they never filed report to my insurance. When I called they told me the claim was denied. In addition, when I called the insurance company they never received the report. Let my horrible experience prevent you from having a poor experience.

I had the unfortunate experience of working with this company because my landlord's home warranty uses them. My toilet had been running, so I called my landlord who called M-R. They came out Saturday 11/10 to "fix" the problem. I am in Tucson. After the plumber left, the toilet began running every 3-4 minutes, completely draining the tank. I was a bit hesitant to use MR Plumbing after reading all of the negative reviews. They were scheduled in response to my claim with Total Protect Home Warranty. I am so glad that I went ahead and used them. Martin is a very professional, personable, knowledgeable, helpful plumber.
