In 1984, at the age of 21, Brian Debo sold a 1966 Ford Mustang for $2,500 that he re-built and purchased from the junkyard for just $25. Brian then used this $2,500 to purchase Public Utility Commission (PUC) authority for moving household goods in the state of Pennsylvania. Brian "fixed up" a 1972 freight truck into a moving van, secured a 4,000-square foot warehouse and established Debo Moving and Storage Inc. in New Brighton, Pa.

Have lived in Beaver Co now for 30 years. Had Debo for our first move here. Every move within the county over the years whether to a new house or business they have been the only movers we have used.. They always go out of their way to give top notch service. They treat you like family and your things with great care. Can’t say enough good things. They have also gone out of their way to accommodate our schedule when we needed to make a last minute change. Had an absolutely amazing experience with Debo Moving and Storage! They were very professional and extremely kind! There was absolutely no damage done to our homes or our items. Leon was perfectly on time and we feel they all went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant experience. I was extremely disappointed by my recent move with Debo Moving. While the office staff was courteous and helpful, the movers were lazy, sloppy, and careless. I'm unpacking boxes two weeks after my move and finding numerous broken items. While the movers were working, I heard no small amount of grumbling and cursing. Not the kind of experience I paid $197 per hour for. I would strong recommend using a different moving service.

I moved across the country and chose Debo based on good reviews. My experience has me wondering why anybody would work with these guys. I'm in Minnesota three weeks after we loaded, all my family's belongings are in a warehouse with no driver assigned to move them, and I can't get anyone at Debo to take any sort of action to get our stuff to us. I've got two little kids with no beds, and I can't even get a call back from the people at Debo when they tell me they will. Please do yourself a favor and avoid these guys at all costs.

Had a great experience from start to finish. They were very responsive getting me a quote and staying in touch as it got closer to the move. The movers were on time, efficient, and friendly doing a job that can be very frustrating. They took care of every piece and put it exactly where it should go making things so much easier to get settled in the new place. I hope to not move again but if I do I would definitely use Debo.

This company and crew were awesome! Polite, helpful, punctual, careful and so very helpful. They went above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone. Nothing was damaged in the move and the price was excellent. We compared their bid to another company and it was 1/2 the price. Great experience!

This is my second time using Debo Moving and Storage and they did not disappoint! Their teams were professional, came prepared to move items and handled some fragile antiques with care. They were very aware of concerns we had and were careful to assure our items arrived as they were originally. Both moves were across PA and this time I had used storage as well. I highly recommend Debo Moving and Storage for any of your moving/storage needs. Thanks for making something challenging less so.

Best Moving Experience ... Again! My parents have used Debo Moving multiple times. In the past it was for local moves. This most recent move was from Pittsburgh to Boynton Beach, FL. All the people we worked with were professional, efficient and wonderful to work with. They took all the stress off my mom's shoulders and made this a successful experience for her. THANK YOU all very much! The people in the office, the packers, the loaders, the driver, the unloaders. Amazing!

We have used Debo three times over the last few years for local moves. They provided excellent service each time. The moving teams were efficient and professional. They were on time and very carful with the items being moved (including a grand piano) and with the walls and floors as they maneuvered some large pieces. We also found their prices to be quite reasonable. Overall, a five star experience!

Debo's is amazing. I don't even know where to start. My husband and I just recently moved to the area from Boston. We had people move us out of our 3 bedroom home in Boston, then other movers into a storage unit here in Freedom and now Debo's from our 10ft x 20ft packed to the brim storage unit to our new home in Hopewell. Debo's was by far the the best experience out of all three moves. My husband has a bad back and I'm pregnant so moving ourselves is out of the question. When my husband and I decided we needed to move from Pittsburgh to Asheville in December we knew we weren't going to do it ourselves. I was on the hunt for a great company and group of people to take all of our stuff 500 hundred miles through WV (possibly in the snow) to our destination safely.
I called 7 national moving companies, Debo wasn't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive but they came out to my house, took a careful look around and gave me an honest quote that they promised not to charge a dollar more for.

I cannot say enough positive things about Debo! When relocating across the state, I had to have a salesman come in & give me an estimate. I was really happy when they were the most competitive in terms of price & was hoping they would be able to give me an estimate for delivery (since it's not local, it could not be guaranteed same day). Everyone I worked with at the office was very understanding--I needed at least a timeframe for delivery because it would help me know what to take in my own vehicle & what to pack for the truck. These guys were awesome. I called and they took my contents inventory over the phone. They set the pricing expectation up front so there were no surprises on my credit card. I had three movers: Aaron, Colton and Rick. They gave me a window of arriving between 8-9am and were there at 8:45am. Everything was moved carefully and they took the time to wrap my dressers so they would not be damaged. Price was very competitive for the area. They moved all of my items into my new house in about four hours. I highly recommend this moving company.

The move was okay. They were punctual. Movers were friendly and moved quickly. They were not the cheapest quote I received but I had used them many times before so I was comfortable using them. Team leaders were very thorough and generally were quick moving. The guys were so nice, in fact, that I let them take several items for doing such a great job. The one needed a crib mattress and the other needed a stand up bar and stools. I even gave one of them a TV. They really were that helpful and I honestly didn't need the items and I asked them if any of them could use the items

Stay away from these guys. Had estimate & then received wrong sized truck that couldn't get up driveway. Workers had such a chip on their shoulders. When asked where to put stuff, if it required extra energy it was always a problem. They disappeared for "lunch" without saying anything. Wouldn't go through access door because there were too many spiders. Finally they had to get 2 more men (5 total) at an extra expense to me to get the job finished. Leaving message for owner brought upon even more attitude from workers as he immediately called the workers. Damaged

I had to move quickly and Debo had helped me get out of my house and in to my new one with no problems. They took everything I needed and I didn't have any real issues with them. Everything was put where it needed to be and after they left everything I had taken was accounted for. I would suggest them to anyone looking to move.

Do not understand the negative reviews. I suppose it depends on your crew. I found this company the best and I have moved over 7 times within the USA and twice from overseas. The crew I had were great, very friendly, helpful hard working. The driver Gary was awesome arriving one day earlier than expected. The move was carefully explained by the sales agent Mike who went over all my options of insurance and prices. I have no negatives to say about the company and would recommend them.
