Progressive Furniture is a family-owned business that was started in Claremont, North Carolina, 1985. For over 30 years, Progressive has shown a dedication to the customer and, ultimately, the consumer through quality products and unsurpassed service. We strive to bring our customers incredible values, first-rate construction, and a unique, stylish, and functional product.
We work meticulously to create a long-term item that is something our customers can be proud of and use for years to come. In 2001, Progressive was acquired by Sauder Woodworking and proudly became a member of the Sauder family. Although Sauder is the 7th largest furniture manufacturing company in the world our team here at Progressive has remained relatively small.
Despite being a small team, each employee compliments the company and adds a unique prospective or skill set to their job. The loyalty and dedication of each Progressive employee makes us more than just another furniture company, we are a family.

Worked there as the truck driver! Nothing but good dialogue from everyone everywhere I went! Then outa no where was walked to HR and was told the was getting rid of my position?! Found out a few weeks ago someone else is there now driving for them and I never herd anything back after being told they would call me when things picked up!? People are nice but shady and foul behind your back!?

Thought it was an awesome job, good pay, good benefits and I thought good people. Planned on staying until I retired. Worked hard, never missed any time, never late then one day I was called to the HR office and told I was fired because someone said I said I wasn't working anymore. I was in shock that someone was so much against me and that they would not even listen to the truth. Companies like this does not deserve to prosper. Most everything that they sell comes from other countries, they do nothing for American economy.
