Ethan Whitney (Owner and Head Designer) - As the son of a well-known design professional at the premier Nursery in the United States, Whitney LAndscape LA owner, Ethan Whitney, learned all aspects of the industry at an early age.Under the mentorship of his father, Lew Whitney, of Roger's Gardens in Newport Beach, Ethan was destined on the path to one day become an accomplished designer himself.
At the age of 13, Ethan began working at Roger's Gardens, working his way up from carryout and stocker, to become the youngest customer service representative in their history at the age of 17. He then transitioned into the installation division, where he was trained by some of the most experienced landscape designers and foremen in California.

Earlier this year, I contacted these guys to regularly upkeep my front yard biweekly and agreed that pay them monthly. The landscaper at first came consistently every other Tuesday but then he began random days without notifying me about the change. Now that I'm home all day during quarantine, I can see when work is being done...or not. In my case, the landscaper stopped coming biweekly but continued to collect my check. Even when I asked him to text me at arrival. Now he completely stopped coming. So UNRELIABLE. Avoid this terrible landscape company that doesn't care about customers

Just leaving a note to say we did eventually receive an estimate with them, but at that point we had already found a reliable company to work with. A woman called me several times since my negative review in hopes of fixing the situation, which I appreciated at first. But she kept saying she was going to suspend the contractor because of this and I thought it was a weird thing to say to me. However people decide to run their business is... their business. It was a little unprofessional.

I do not recommend working with Whitney Landscape LA or Ethan Whitney. Extremely unprofessional company. Lacks respect for peoples property and chronically late. I'm extremely unsatisfied with his services and will be looking for a replacement ASAP.

Reading other reviews, I see that I’m not the only one with a horrible experience with this company. Would give them zero stars if I could! Avoid them at all costs. They are not honest. They’re like used car salesmen just trying to get your business, but then you don’t get what you pay for. Sometimes you don’t even get anything at all! Yet they still collect your money. Like the review below, I’ve noticed the lack of work they’re actually doing bc I’m home more.
