I hired KW solar two years ago and I must say I was very impressed by the sales pitch. Unfortunately its been a nightmare since then. I pay more in electricity now than before I went solar. After months of emails and phone calls I was finally told that one of my inverters wasn't working. AND THEN...... the tech said sometimes salesmen lie. I paid for a 96% system and it doesn't even cover 50% of usage. I lost a lot of money and hope you don't make the same mistake I did. Choose another company!

I contacted 5 solar companies requesting an estimate for a system on a new build house. They were selected based on google reviews averaging 4.5 stars and above. Justin was the only one who responded promptly with a meeting followed by a quote and then a revision. None of the other companies even come close to his response and service. He was excellent and months ahead of everyone else.
Full disclosure: I did not select KW to do the work even though their price was the lowest. I have selected another company based on integrated services with the energy consultant that I am using.

I was a skeptical about getting solar panels and whether or not it really would be a good investment for our family, so I was definitely looking for all the reasons not to get them. After visiting with Justin from KW Solar, and the detailed proposal package it was clear that this was a smart investment for us. We ended up getting 28 panels which should produce most of our electricity throughout the year. We purchased our home with KW Solar having already installed panels on the house we bought. We couldn't be more satisfied with the overall experience from our original inquiry about getting to know about solar to our visit from KW Solar rep to walk our property and show us things we didn't even konw about. KW SOLAR were contracted by 1800SOLARUSA to design and install my solar panels. The crew was professional and knowledgeable enough to answer all my question during installation. The panels were installed without a hitch and all systems worked as I was promised. KW SOLAR did their portion of the job right!

Our home had solar panels when we bought it and when they stopped reading each month, we weren’t really sure who to contact. We knew we found a great company shortly after contacting KW Solar. I’ve been thinking about solar for my home for a year now. We co-own the house with my daughter and son-in-law though and they are not totally on board yet because solar panels are not that attractive. I don’t blame them. But I met with KW several time and emailed the many more with lots of questions. They are quick to reply and thorough in their responses. Although I have not yet bought from them if I do decide to do solar they will be the first I call. Based on my experience so far I would recommend you at least talk to them.

It's not often in this day and age when one can be impressed with customer service. Too often that's a thing of the past. Not so with KW Solar. My solar panels were down, and the original installation company's Houston number (posted on the web) led me to CenterPoint. Fortunately they were able to lead me to the original person I interfaced with in 2014. His company, KW Solar, immediately addressed my issue and sent out a technician. He replaced a blown fuse in a few minutes' time, job complete. No charge, under warranty. Not only that, I had a million questions which were answered by email and
