When I graduated University I knew I was very excited about the prospects of renewable and sustainable energy and how it can impact us in such a positive way, I thought of nothing I wanted to work with but Solar energy. With Grid tied solar one can attach to the utility grid this means that one doesnt need batteries. Any excess solar electricity is accounted for by sdge and is reset ever fiscal year. Similar to grid tied except on the occasion of a black out your home will have electricity stored well after sunset.
