Best Heating and Cooling in Scio has been awesome. They are a family run business that treats their customers like extended family. It’s just how they do business. Here is the story. We had a very old HVAC system and needed to replace it. After many appointments and quotes from the other guys Kirby came to the rescue. We agreed on a price and system to be installed.

Chris went above and beyond to make sure our heating system was working in this cold weather. He walked a quarter mile up our driveway in the snow and ice because the van could not get up our driveway. A very personable man to have in your home.

This was my second experience hiring Best Heating & Cooling. They are wonderful with keeping you up to date on their timing within the window given. I love that they text not only that someone's on the way, but exactly who is coming with their photo.
I had them move my thermostats to help with keeping my house more evenly heated. They were quick and thorough and also gave me some tips on better settings to keep things less stratified.

I called Best heating & cooling because our gas fireplace wasn’t turning on from the switch, they had a technician out the very next day! Hunter came out and got our fireplace back on. We realized that a couple of our wall units weren’t working either. He was so nice and checked them out for me even though he had already completed the job he came out to do. He quickly got all 3 back on and working! He worked quickly and was very nice. I highly recommend this place!

We purchased a 3 zoned unit that included 2 ductless wall units as well as a slim ducted unit about 5 months ago and, so far, couldn't be happier with the whole experience.
Kirby came out to give us a quote. He took a look at are house, asked us what our goals and needs were, and made a few recommendations based on that. He gave us a few different options with different price points and described the pros and cons to each. I really couldn't believe how knowledgeable he was.

These guys are the best throughout. Very helpful, educational, and know what customer service is about! From the owner evaluating and recommendations, to the service installers, to the office staff, and to the follow maintenance, just AWESOME!! Just had Chris out the other day and can't thank him enough! Others places were curt, not talkative, did not return calls, and "we know best" - well they don't but BEST does! 2.5 yrs and very happy customer

I had a maintenance plan with Best Heating and 2 weeks after a scheduled maintenance there was an issue with my furnace blower. They sent a technician out and I was told the blower was burned out and I would need a replacement. After the technician left I called another company for a 2nd estimate for replacement and the 2nd company found wires that were shorted out and when he connected them the blower worked. I contacted Best and told them I didn't appreciate that their technician failed to find or tell me about the wires in an effort to get me to buy a new blower. I had to spend $265 to
